Any ideas what they could add to the Features section of the official site? So far it's just the stuff from DOA5+

What comes to my mind:

- customize mode
- 2 vs 2 tag
- mini game
- team battle

There's gotta be more possibilities..

Ghost battle mode like Tekken's...

-I just want to address some points. Doa4 overall had lack luster stages compared to both Doa2 and Doa3. With that said, ninja hideout, the monkey temple, gamblers paradise (sans the cars), sea side market (top level only), and maybe the safari are up to par.

-Being 100% brutaly honest, having Vf characters in Doa does jack shit for Vf. The characters look better and are more fluid in Doa. The only thing these characters did, was solidify that Doa is a competitive fighter in the like of Vf, Tk, Sc...etc. Something Doa alone could not do...great marketing Team Ninja! Some may say that these Vf characters brought a level of deph and sophistication that was sorely missing from the series. This is absolutely incorrect. Those who are astute in the Doa series will tell you that these characters bring to Doa5 what was already heavily present in Doa3.1. So the need to use Vf's engine to better Doa is totally not necessary. Doa built a solid foundation with Doa2, and brought the series to the right direction with 3.1. If truth be told, Vf have been borrowing heavily from Doa since Vf4. So infact, Doa need less Vf and more polishing of its own engine!

-Addendum: In retrospect, the addition of the Vf Characters proved what the members on this side of the community have be advocating all along. That Team Ninja should have used Doa3.1 as the base, and built up from there. The Vf5 Characters play exactly like Doa3.1 characters(proving my point how Vf for the past two iterrations have been heavily influenced by doa), no joke or exaggeration. Imagine if TN used 3.1 as the base for Doa5.....Doa5 is not bad, but it would have been freaking perfect! With all the tweaks in Doa5, with 3.1 as the core.. Doa5 would have no doubt about it being competitive enough. There would be a plethora of strats that would take the series to new heights...surpassing our beloved 3.1. The fact that Ultimate is bringing back the classic stages that provided unsurpassed levels of environmental positioning, tactics, setups, baits interaction, character positioning, terrain awareness ect.

VF behifitted from DAO5 because they got to basically advertise their series.i Didn't know jack shit about Virtua Fighter till everyone started talking when Akira showed up.i learned that they shared similarities to DOA and it seemed like something I would like so I bought VF5:FS in other words VF got my money.

Also if I was Sega no way in hell would I put Shenmue in DOA5U,I'd use him for VF6.you don't give your opponent your best cards.

Yeas. Kind of like Virtua Fighter 5's quest mode I believe.

Right now, Team Ninja has given me everything I've wanted. I just am asking for one more thing... and that is the option for 2 Vs. 2 online tag. Hopefully they really do improve the netcode issues and add the feature back in.

Mostly, yes. I just want:

1) Tengu. It really, really sucks having to play DOA without even being able to use your DOA main.

2) A more 3.1-ish system. Sadly, I never had the chance to play it, but after seeing so many videos, streams and explanations, I've long since been convinced that this is the way the game should play.

3) Solid netcode. Buy Namco's and implement it into DOA5U.

THis.. DoA5U needs to have the best netcode of the series to compete with Tag 2 and all the other games DoA5's netcode sucks too much.. another good thing would be to ditch the regional based connections too that way people from UK can play US and Asia without having 1 bar lag

-I see what you are saying. I believe Sega thought that they would get a lot of cross promotion from this deal. From the looks of it, it back fired on their part. The amount of New players transitioning to VF5FS from Doa5 is quite minor. Team Ninja gained far more out of the deal than Sega could have ever received. The mere addition of the VF Characters...Mainly Akira gave Doa its long over due recognition with the Fighting Game Community(FGC) as a worthy competitive fighter. This was fucking brilliant marketing/strategy by Team Ninja!!! By using a Character Like Akira who is hard to play well, hard to master, and is more difficult on the execution side, It forced the players in the FGC to take a far deeper look at Doa5. The fact that Team Ninja transitioned the VF characters so beautifully and virtually seamlessly into Doa5(without losing their VF based strengths and uniqueness) made it extremely hard to deny their talent.

-With Doa being called a titty fighter, shallow, Vf lite..etc.. it was hard(near impossible) to lay such claims because Team Ninja's work was not only impressive, it showed that Doa and VF were not worlds apart depth,strategic,tactic..etc wise. In fact, it pretty much showed with said characters usage that Doa can pretty much do what VF does, while sticking to its own engine. I don't know about you guys, but I find this to be the most cleaver and ingenious way to prove a point. We have been working so hard to prove this to the FGC, while it fell on deaf ears. Team Ninja listening to our cries about Doa being taken more seriously, solves the problem beautifully! Lmao, they made such a strong link, that to say Doa5 sucks, is pretty much saying VF5FS sucks. We all know how the FGC will never proclaim VF as a bad game(or shallow), they give unconditional respect to the series...Catch 22 lmao.

-Im not denying there were some benefit from the union, Just that Doa got the better end of the deal.

I cant be the only person who thinks they should use some of the Dynasty Warriors outfits as DLC right? I mean Sigma 2 had Ryu dressed as Zhao Yun,,, and come on look at my avatar lol Leifang any1!? Not to mention it would hype up the NA release of DW8 later this year. OH and Christie better be able to do the follow up string off of 7p just like the A.I likes to pull off every once in a while... Jus sayin'

I wanna see better replay options, so i can rewind w/o having to watch the whole thing over or start the replay from a certain round , and hopefully they add a Haptic feedback ( vibration ) to controllers when its your turn in lobby games ; i like to turn on the TV or walk away w/ the controller when its not my turn or for the arcade stick users have it so we can set for controller #2 , the ability to send invites w/o leaving the que in a lobby match , and change lobby options while still in que (ex. room size max 4 on creation to , to modify to 6 if i choose to do so ) fix the broken offensive frame data ,Dojo for Tag mode training !! man i can go and on ..

where can i go to make sure that our voices are heard!?!
