At this point, Tengu seems about a plausible to me as Mario. They seem to get a stiffy over adding guest characters, so why not?

so each character it's gonna be like 4 bucks, i think it's to much for a character, but there's people that only like 6 characters so it's cheaper for them so im glad, im gonna buy a physical copy of this because has so much content. hopefully all the DOA5 vanilla costumes plus the new ones, besides it's just 40 bucks right? or it's a 60 bucks game? (not complaining though).

friend only uses 2 characters Zack , and Kasumi .. his xbox subscription ran out $60, planned on getting Ultimate for $40 , now plans on getting used PS3 for $80 ,$free PSN , downloading f2p Ultimate and buying Zack for $4 , and Big Mac while still saving a few extra bucks at the gas pump.. Tecmo will defeintly bring in a new wave of fighters with this F2P model , bravo Tecmo bravo

I'm willing to bet money that Jacky is the last VF. Hayashi says when DOA5 was in development they specifically wanted Akira, Pai, Sarah, and Jacky. Akira and Sarah definitely had to be in but they had to decide between Pai and Jacky and Pai won because she's a girl basically.

Well im sorry to say this sir, but........ IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!
So, this is all from the Japanese version of the game, right (most text in screenshots are in Japanese)? So do Japanese players who can't speak English seriously have to play the game with each character's name being written only in English on the select screen? That seems weird. Always been curious how that works. Logo is also in English.

There will be only two new characters, Rachel(Yey Rachel) and Tengu i don't think they will add anyone else. Also people should stop using the amount of space left on the website as an argument that there will be or there will not be any new characters in the game. Because all they would have to do to create more room on their website is to change the command "width=xx pixel" to "width=xx+5 pixel" in their HTML code lolz.
The game having a free version indeed helps players get in to the game and i truly hope it will. I like the idea that you only pay for what you want. Don't care about the story mode because you haven't played the previous versions or whatever? No problem don't but it and enjoy the rest of the game. Also im glad they did what i thought they would, they made it so the DLC from DOA5 can be read in DOA5U and is not included as part of the game which would have made me feel like TN screwed me since i bought EVERY SINGLE ONE of their DLC even when i didn't like the costumes just to support them. I hope TN will release allot more DLC for DOA5U and yes im gonna buy them all again what can i say im a collector and yes ill be getting pre-ordered DOA5U collectors edition(even though i fully realize that the CE costumes will become available as DLC in near future) because that's what fans do.
Anyhow i really hope that others are able to see the DLC costumes even if they have not bought the DLC because i think not having the DLC and only be able to see others using them doesn't discourage one to go and buy the DLC pack(becuase that is waht TN is afraid of aka losing money) in fact i think it rather encourages them to buy the DLC pack also i hope TN brought back 2vs2 tag online mode and added some new game mechanics for me to exploit!

I meant besides the ones that are confirmed and i really think they are going to put Tengu in the game since there have been allot of requests for him on this site. However i don't really know what is going on on twitter but if Tengu is popular request on twitter then im pretty sure he will be in DOA5U since they could to the same with him as they did with Ein meaning copy paste his move set otherwise i could be wrong.
