I can't believe there will be only 2 characters left to promote the game until September, especially with E3 being so close. What will they promote during July/August ? Costumes ? Stages ?
I'm not being too optimistic about this, though, like last time, with Leon's presence in DOA5.

If I'm not wrong, from E3 2012 trailer (June) until DOA's launch (September), there was only Mila that was revealed. (It's the only fighter we didn't see in the E3 trailer)
In my opinion, the fact there is these "???" on DOA5U website for 2 more characters makes clear the fact there is only 2 "new" characters left...

Anyway, No one has seemed to notice there is a new "Team fight" mode in DOA5U: Team battle mode new name?!

No. Helena, Gen Fu, La Mariposa, Jann Lee, Eliot, Brad... Alpha were revealed in August/September. ^^

People should be free to speculate, but it's probably not worth making theories based on a promotional character selection screen... DOA5's changed a lot before release, too.
And since there was no leaked roster this time, they are basically free to keep any kind of surprise till the end.

This along with Team Battle online would be awesome! Just imagine playing with five of your favorite characters online. Then I'd actually have an excuse to main five characters! (Ryu, Hayate, Alpha-152, Momiji, Leon)
