looking at some current vids and it would appear that it has been reduced by one maybe even two hits,take a look.

Yo, Dead or Alive 3 came out 12 years ago and looks better than VF5. What's the deal with that?

I have to disagree, I find Sarah really beautiful in DoA5 but it's something really different from the cuteness/sexiness that emerges from the female creations of Team Ninja. If I should compare her attractiveness to some real person, I would think about Uma Thurman: it's not the standard kind of beauty, but has that something that makes her really charming...

Theres also some serious clipping issues, flickering fuzzy shadows and body parts twised up which makes it look very odd & creepy. I really want them to iron out these graphic issues but it's no big deal to me.

If there are no plans to change the stun game, I wonder if the big changes to DOA5U include the DOA characters having more moves that give advantage on block on par with the VF cast, let alone everyone being able to utilize the KBD as the VF characters did in DOA5 before it was significantly patched.

DOA2/DOA3 stun system, frame advantage and fixing more specific gameplay issues...That will be a dream come true.

Okay, since the balancing and changes are radically different DoA5U cannot play with Vanilla 5 5U can only play with retail 5u and 5U: Core Fighters.

And yes if you have a DoA5 save file on PS3 then all your titles, costumes and DLC will be available for unlocked characters and story mode progress.

Changes like? It seems that the new contents are just things that can be manage by the vanilla game with a patch or two(new character aside maybe).
And thanks for the answer but I wat to know if i can use the characters of vanilla doa5 without having to buy it another time in doa5U.
For example in doa5u free edition i can use Zack if I had previously bought the vanilla one?

Patching the original to be compatible with ultimate would require so much extensive patching it would then just become ultimate, defeating the point of having an "ultimate" to begin with.

Well, I think they're changing some major stuff like the before mention power launchers plus they're rebalancing the whole game to fit with the new additions and adding moves and true they could have just patched Vanilla 5 but it was probably cheaper just to release a brand new game.

And I don't think so, the only characters on the free version from the get go are Ayane, Kasumi, Hayabusa and Hayate everyone else costs 400 yen/$4/£2.50 each. so it's only best to get a few characters on FTP otherwise you'd be paying more than the retail disc version.

Hopefully you're right, but looking at the actually combo, it looks like Busa still needed to do 3 moves before the CB.

Could be unneeded moves in the list down there either that or Ryu got his damage nerfed.
