Lol. I still prefer it if they bring Tengu or a male character (regardless if it is Shiden, Hitomi's dad or someone completely new like my buff nerdy tripping character idea).
The 16 females to 13 males ratio is so not ideal. It doesn't help that the girls have lot of costumes either. They better add a truckload of costumes for the guys as compensation.

I honestly just think the women should be more globally represented. Yes, I know my preferences are for Caucasian and Asian girls. However, this doesn't need to be exclusively those.
Ideally, I'm thinking the total percentage should be ~50% Caucasian, ~35% Asian (including Korean, Taiwanese, etc.) and ~15% other.

If i think of it, I can easily design the FMA moveset as well. He'd be a quirky character to play, but easy for beginners. He would specialize in punches, and share a couple of zacks less desirable kicks. The punches would be all mid or high, and the uppercuts would be highs that crush highs. The throws would crush highs and mids. He would have special holds, and his special wakeup will be a throw.
Advantages:
Wide array of punches that can be easily learned and strung in just about any order
Mid and High crushing throws
Quick jab
A low throw (that doesn't crush mids, but does crush highs) that doesn't need a crouching opponent
Usually crushes highs with mids
Disadvantages:
No high kicks
No low crushes
Only a mid offensive hold
Spends most of the time playing the 50-50 game with few stuns
Terrible long range and below average mid game
Staple moves:
Jab
Cross
Hook
Stunning wakeup kick
Kicks and punches that end with throws like Kokoro's strings
Elbows

Story: Lizanne grew up on a farm in Sweden to a large family. After a dispute with her mother, Lizanne left the farm, in hopes to get a job, an income, and a home. However, after days on the road, she becomes desperate and attempts to find anywhere that she could be hired. She soon joined a community of punks that roamed outside Stockholm, spraying graffiti not as a hate crime, but to stop gangs around the world. Lizanne becomes an expert in parkour, and works as a graffiti artist with a great clientele. However, the group begins to lose money, as they've tried to fund for help of the sick, elderly, and homeless. She enters to give back again.
While meeting the other fighters, she becomes curious to what Ayane's motive was to be there. She then decides to curiously befriend Ayane, and looks up to her for mentoring in fighting.
Personality: Lizanne doesn't give two shits about anyone as long as their personality is good. She is satirical, funny, and entertaining. Lizanne is easy to make friends with. However, Lizanne is also somewhat of a pig, and loves food. She jokes around about her weight.
Appearance: Lizanne has long, curly blond hair, bright blue, almond-shaped eyes, full lips, a muscular build compared to other female brawlers, and is the first fighter to have piercings. She is a firm supporter of cancer fighters, and represents them when she fights.
She is fit, yet very curvy and heavier than other girls.
Trivia:
- Lizanne loves to make various movie references.
- Lizanne loves horses.
- Lizanne has a crush on Ayane. If she was an actual character, she would be the first openly homosexual character.
- Lizanne loves anything that makes her feel comfortable. Once in her dress, she states she loves the look of heels but hates to wear them.

Like I said at that time, I didn't tweet your art to Team NINJa because my priority was to get back Bankotsubo, but your work was good and I still continue to think it. It's possible that TN maybe used your ideas as source for this new character... and this is something much more worthy of the design of an outfit in the game. So you should be glad for it
PS: The only thing that doesn't work in the current character is the age: Bankotsubo was 1500 years old and appeared definitely more old than this female Tengu with an age of 1018 years old (maybe the answer is that the metabolysm is different between a full Tengu and an hybrid human/Tengu XD); in your concept the idea that she was 400 years old worked much better.

Here's Raidou's daughter. She was like 12 or something when he was killed, but he taught her many things so the moveset is similar. She's a zoning type character. Dark skinned, toned build. Holds a grudge against the ninjas.
Her default costume won't be Raidou's, I just drew it that way so Team Ninja gets the message. Haven't bothered giving her a name yet or any other details

It's not too bad honestly. Ayane used to be the "villain" ninja until DOA3 (what I actually mean is that she was the closest thing to a rival ninja), so it would be nice to have an actual bad non-clone ninja fighting the good ninjas, plus someone who is not working for MIST. The design is great as it's just basically.. a female Raidou. A male teenager would have been better imo, just to compensate (boobs overdose), but it's a good tribute. So red eyes and brown hair ?
I totally buy it. Provided she has a better moveset than Raidou's.
Who killed Raidou again, canon-wise ? I know Kasumi did the 75% of the job and then Ryu 25% at the end, right ?
Curious to see Teen Genra seeking vengeance now, lol.
Especially as Ayane's life is pretty boring now that she made peace with Kasumi...

I really dislike this idea. It was hard enough learning they made a female tengu. I don't know how many more of these I can handle... DX

Actually, I think this was the best way to bring back Tengu-dou in the long term (and other movesets for the dead bosses) : Nyo is appealing, popular and deeper.
For instance, there was a sense of curiosity with Leon coming back in DOA5U, and they did an amazing job redesigning him, he has never been so cool to use honestly. Plus he was in the spotlight, because when you take something back from people, they start to care more about it.
Sure people would have played Tengu for a moment because he would have felt new, but that's it. In the future, they would not have cared much about him. And Tengu as a DLC would not have sold as much as Nyo, and it's not only TN's money problem, it's ours as well! As much as I love Tengu, Nyotengu was the best thing which could happen for Tengu-dou. Giving him new moves wouldn't have been enough, a new design was necessary.
I'm not saying boobs solve everything, but a new design (male) would be nice for these dusty movesets. That may just be my opinion, but I think Teen Raidou & Donovan with Genra's moveset is more appealing than Old Raidou and Old Genra....... I understand the nostalgia though...
DOA5LR should bring back Raidou's and Genra's moveset anyway.
Hint : they should mix the two movesets, it's way more exciting!

Ayane and him grew up in the same village. He was supposed to become the master of the Hajimon sect. However, when Ayane unexpectidely took that place after Genra's death, he decided to flee the clans, in order to have a normal life in Indonesia or Korea, fed up with all these rules. He wears casual clothes, loves baseball and is a cocky womaniser. Never liked Ayane - jealous with some feelings - or the ninjas - they have stupid rules.
Still retains Raidou's Torn Sky Blast (Power Blow) and Genra's Tyrant stance.
He should be a "rebelious cocky modern hidden ninja". Ninjas aren't looking for him because.. (help me find a reason!).
Decides to take part in the tournament to : bring back Genra's mask, who was stolen by Donovan ('the mask would look cool above his bed'), have a conversation with the self-proclaimed Hajimon leader Ayane ("everything is so messy with you ninjas/i guess we cannot choose to have a normal childhood") and meet sexy chicks ("Hey Kokopuff").

So...a hidden daughter? This may mess up the cannoned storyline, unless Ayame tells Kasumi (or Ayane) that they have another sister. I'm not sure how that will work though.
