That's true, don't mean to get everyone hopes up, but from my examination the guy on the far left corner could be Leon or it's just Bayman wearing his hat (whatever you call it). I'm guessing Mila uses either boxing or kick boxing maybe with some MMA as her throws or holds- looks like she's wearing boxing gloves. Also if you look closely Mila hair on the left goes down further. Check out the thumbnail

Even if Leon was in the game (and he's not) he would be of no relevance in the story mode. I can almost guarantee you that man is Donovan. I cant find a picture of him from Dimensions, but he does resemble him.

I am hoping you are right, Donovan would be another new character to try out, I would definitely like him to be in. But concerning that image I'm thinking either Bayman with his hat or Leon. It completely looks like there's a hat if you look closely inbetween the words.

I didnt mean as a playable character, just a character in the story. he was the man in the mask at the end of the story trailer. The image is too undefined to speculate about his head.

Yeah I know, I still wouldn't mind Donovan as a playable character. The guy on the far left is a big mystery though, some say Zack, I say either Bayman or Leon, and then some say Akira of course hard to tell. Edit: I don't care about relevance in the story mode, I only care about playable characters.

Why would you not want Leon in the game? Got beef with getting a beat down?
And if its true that Mila is suppose to use a fighting style of a character that's been removed, then my guess is she will have Nicole's moveset with slight alterations.
I mean, really. No genderswapping issues, it's an awfully rough-and-tumble style, and it kinda suits what little her idle stance and costume appear to show.
Nicole was a great character and it makes sense to bring back that moveset!

some info from Hayashi's interview with Korean site ruliweb.
Nothing really new but somethings I noticed werre
-Hayashi says that he put 2 characters from VF (Akira and Sara) in DOA5. Maybe its just because Pai is not announced, or she actually doesn't exist in the game
-He of course mentions there will be additional character that was not announced (Mila most likely)
-there will be no additional characters sold for DLC or unlocked.
-the number of costumes will be similar to DOA4. they are unlocked just by playing the game. They say if there is request then they can sell additional costumes via DLC

22 character slots from the getgo, the slot where Mila should be in is locked, unless this picture is of an older build and that is now Akira or Sarah's slot.
based on the original post of this thread, that would mean there are 3 more slots, starting a 3rd row right beneath the 5th slot over.

Did my best to compare character portraits from squinting to the character portraits from previous builds. There are at least 2 or 3 extra slots on a third row starting beneath the 2nd row's 5th slot. Gen Fu and Alpha are implied to take two of those 3rd row slots. Considering the 3rd row is not even shown here alludes to the idea that the row reveals as you unlock, meaning it could also be longer than 3 but whoknows.

Nobody knows. It is better to guess new characters than for people to be set in stone, and then those characters end up being revealed. Then everyone looks like Booboo da fool.
