lol wanna know what happened now.
This is going to be incredibly embarassing to write, but I'll do it anyway.
I was drawing Honoka's head I think when my mom walks in my room and says "That's a well-endowed boobie girl." I couldn't believe my ears. I just wanted to disappear and be done.

Then my sister goes to complain about how the developers draw women in their games while I wonder what she will think when I start doing the same thing once I become a game developer myself.

I've also had to deal with complaints about Kasumi's outfit and Lisa skirt being too high in her scientist costume, so I stopped playing story mode in DOA5 for that reason. I also refrain from playing online too much as well.

Anyway, does anyone else have trouble drawing faces (on humans in particular)? They're kind of a pain for me, so I tend to draw from the torso down, then upwards from there.

heh. My family (when I was trying to get into game dev) kept telling me I should make nice clean Christian games. Got really irritating.

Yeah I have a problem with faces, just look at my little tina and mila sketch from last night lol.

I've gotta admit, I like the watermelon-print on this one. Wouldn't mind if she actually got a bikini like that.

Haha, thanks. ^^ The fact, that she has the biggest size was a reason for me to give her a melon bikini, even though it's not a request or a "final version". =)

yeah my mom was the type to go through my game informers and "cross out" any pages depicting things she didn't approve of.

So...yeah...My sister grew out of that phase and we both understand that I'm not into making things oversexualized for the hell of it or gory for no reason, but I'm not about to make things so utterly shallow like most christian games, nor am I going to make my stuff preachy, so it CAN'T be a christian game by default.

the sad thing is she's so generic I can see fanart of her, knowing who she is, and STILL not sure if its supposed to be the doa character.

I can see that for her C1/C2, but her cow themed outfits are on the more...uh...unique side. XD

On a side note her and the rest of the new characters (minus P4) give off an arcade vibe to me and I'm not sure why.

Look the faces on my Ein and Marie Rose in the contests and you will get the answer XD

I found this one amusing, although I don't recognize the girl in the middle. Anyone know?

Vatista from the visual novel and 2d fighting game "Under Night In-Birth".

A christian game would be awesome to see these days. But not an ordinary one, I'm talking pissed off Jesus, bullet time, explosions... I always joked about making something like that but coding is not something I'll ever learn. That said I can always provide art or writing for such a game :p

forget jesus, use the lesser known stories like...a strategy game as God dispersing the plagues, or Job, or historically accurate 300 style David vs Goliath game.

Honestly, family pushes me to make a "pure christian" game that, I wanna make a "true bible" game that doesn't water things down, and actually explicitly covers all the horrors and indecencies that would make todays comics look tame in comparison, with slavery, rape, incest, body horrors, brutal combat and decapitations, impalements, plagues, etc, etc, just to throw it back in my family's face.
