I can see something like that, but considering my search images is usually seeing DSP fails, random Ryona and other completely random crap, Youtube isn't exactly the best place for it.
I'm not saying that this isn't an issue, as it's more of an issue of Youtube streamlining the searches for you. If anything, whenever I see Street Fighter stuff, I STILL usually see Ryona for it and maybe even Mods for it. As for the "No boobs, no buy", you forgot KOFXII's insane shenanigans with Mai, K' and I forgot the last person not being in the game? Hell, it was mainly "No Mai, no buy" and that's a true slogan. And hell, Lucky Chloe is now the newest part of that with the Tekken fanbase, there's ALOT of irrational fools who believe the game should be this or that or whatever else, if people are THAT easily swayed, that is still THEIR problem, not ours.
DOA may be Ryona centered plenty, but acting like Street Fighter, Tekken and other fighting games doesn't even have any level of that potential is just, well, ridiculous and I can see atleast one still popping up on the recommended bar, same for the other games.
I do believe we need to find some way to get the tourney footage and add it somewhere where we won't get a chance of seeing that stuff.
Acting like that there's balance patches every month for every other fighting game in existence...

Its exactly what I said. When ALL we get is sexualized shit, and nothing substantial or appropriate. A fetish pack here and there is no big deal. But almost all of 2014 was fetish packs, so for those of us wanting real content, we were SOL.

At least the game is still being supported 2 years after release. You won't see that with many other games. A lot of games are released, maybe get a patch or two and a dlc pack and that's it, no more support. People should be happy that any dlc is released 2 years on.

I'm not "acting" like anything. I'm only reporting what I've found. I just pulled an SF4 combo vid to check. Not a one "untoward" thing on the list. I'm sure it's out there somewhere if you wanna look. But, it's about what's shoved in your face even if your not looking for it.

Well not everyone has the same standards as you. Maybe some people enjoy the bikini packs. Just because you don't like them doesn't make them objectively bad.
Also your analogy falls flat, you can survive eating rotten food but you'll starve if you get nothing.

First of all... no costume pack ever will be "real", or "substantial" content, no matter what it is, it's fluff for casual fans.
Considering ACTUAL substantial content... this game got around 10 additional characters since the Vanilla release, roughly the same amount of stages and multiple major, or minor tweaks to it's gameplay.
This is stuff that really adds to the game, while costumes do not.
And ofc it's hard to get "real content", if your definition is "an outfit that suits my head canon version of Mila".
The DLC is by no means only a result of the "new TN and their missing sense for art direction", or "the pervy Japanase"... it's the result of the fanbase this game built with it's past iterations and the stuff this fanbase actually bought.

I'm sorry but no. Minor things like frame data tweaks are largely irrelevant to me, as they take a grand total of 15 seconds to adapt to. (Or hours for the psychos who flip when they realize that ONE combo doesn't work the same anymore...). Not exactly huge gamechangers. "oh no, I can't do this one specific, situational thing anymore, so I'll just use the tool normally, or use one of the countless other tools".
As for "ACTUAL" content. We got Marie Rose. That's about it. I don't count a reskin of an old character, nor Kasumi #5, but this time with smoke, because neither of those are "new", nor "Substantial".
I do however count costumes, because in a fighting game, alternate outfits go a long ways towards identifying players. Plus it really helps break monotony. Which is another issue I have with the bikinis. It doesn't matter which swimsuit is picked, its still 90% skin, so what the fucks the difference between em.
Anyways, back on track, my point was that yes, the sexualization is too much when almost all of the 2014 dlc was just fetish packs, with no real/substantial content. We have to wait for Last Round to get any real costumes (We got what...halloween? That was it, wasn't it?), and even then, the preorders are just MORE bikinis, and then some stuff for the ninjas, because fuck the roster, apparently. Only thing to look forward to with Last Round so far is the contest costumes, and Helenas new hairstyle. Well plus if you actually like the Ninjas preorder outfits (Im fine with all but Ryu's, whose looks retarded)
I can't even say I'm excited for Mila's contest outfit. Putting aside the fact that I don't really like it to begin with (I don't outright HATE it, but I'm not a fan), it dawned on me that its essentially just a pallet swap of the cop dlc, so its not even anything to look forward to, because I already have it.
Just....for fucks sake, some string does not a costume make. Not helping that the bikini pallete swaps take up so many costume slots when they could be merged into one or two, with the face buttons picking different bikini colors like you can with panties on regular outfits.
Argentus there's no point no matter how much you want this game to succeed or have cool costumes you can never out talk the Fan-base they like the game the way it is. I understand that you are tired of this fetish bull crap, but we can't win against the Fan base who just want skimpy outfits which is most of the fan base. Why can't we have costumes that don't have to be sexy all the time for a change right strings and Christmas wrappings aren't costumes but we can't or do anything because everything is going find the way it is to the fan-base we can't out beat Twitter deviant-art it's you and tournament players who are getting tired of it. We have too many people asking for these skimpy costumes over players who just want this game to be a little more serious it's a battle that can't be won people will never understand about too much sex appeal until the characters are completely naked. Everything has to be going the same rate because to them the community is doing very well having $8000 at one tournament and only one is a big leap while every other fighting game passes us again so expect it to happen a 3rd time around apparently were doing just fine in the slumps.

Gameplay tweaks are big game changers, changing the properties of just a few moves can completely change how a character is played. Costumes on the other hand make zero difference to gameplay.
So Marie, Nyotengu, Phase4, Rachel, Momiji, Leon, Ein, Jacky, Raidou and the new girl plus several stages isn't substantial enough for you?
So for example, if player1 is wearing jeans and a short sleeve blue shirt and player 2 is wearing jeans and a long sleeve blue shirt, that is somehow a bigger difference then if Player 1 is wearing a red one piece bikini and player 2 is wearing a green two piece bikini? No it's not. The amount of skin showing has nothing to do with how varied the costumes are.
Once again your subjective opinion is not objective fact. Just because you don't like the bikinis doesn't make them any less real or substantial. Secondly there is a lot more to look forward to in LR then 'contest costumes, and Helenas new hairstyle'. I'm going to spell this out very clearly. Well nothing TN ever do to Mila will fit your waifu vision of what Mila is to YOU. Other people don't neccesarily see the character in the same light as you.
