Strange, it's already Feb.24 in Japan but no preview on the official site of the ninja DLC. I guess they're too busy warning people about bugs and glitches lol

Given that all characters are (likely) getting something, this would be a reaaaaaally good time for TN to finally include some of the long missing costumes for Ayane, Momiji, and Rachel....

(I'm looking at you missing Phantom Butterfly costume!!)

I thought the same: in the case that all the characters should get one ninja outfit, I would be more than glad to see only old outfits for the proper ninja characters. Having to choose only one outfit, in this case I would like to get:
  1. Raidou human skin from the original DoA1 (basically DOAD C1);
  2. Momiji's Indigo/Happi outfit from NG;
  3. Hayabusa's fiend outfit from NG;
  4. Ayane's Phantom Butterfly from NG;
  5. Kasumi Alpha's DoAD C3 for Phase 4;
  6. Hayate's DoA3 C3;
  7. Kasumi's DoA++ C1 or Kasumi's DoAD C3.

  • I know that Raidou skin or Kasumi DoA++ outfit are really unlikely (in case of a legacy outfit, TN would choose very likely her sailor one from NG3RE);
  • Kasumi Alpha's DoAD C3 is a simple white/red recolour but is actually my favourite version of that outfit (even if I admit that the inclusion of the red one will get always the priority for me being the original one);
  • To be fair my favourite old outfit for Ayane is her DoA3 C1, but I understand that the majority of her fans would like to see in the game her main NG action costume and so I think that actually that would be the best choice for her.
However absolutely nothing so far said us that we will get legacy outfits, so I'm not actally expecting them but this is just a wish.

Agreed! All are solid choices, but even if only the most iconic ones show up, there is still hope for others to resurface since TN has been good about sprinkling the occasional legacy costume into packs in the newer costume sets. The NG costumes have been highly requested, so that fact we don't have them yet may suggest TN has had a particular event or they have been saving them for.

I'm partial to Kasumi's DOA++ costume if given a choice, but would be happy with all of those.

Even though @The Enforcer mentioned it, and I know its just speculation at the moment, but is this JUST a ninja's only pack (from what people can see)? Or does it look like there will be costumes for each character.

Would be interested to see what they do with the very NON-ninja characters like Zack or Mila.
