But that $93...

No, I do. It's just...I wonder if I am foolish in not buying the season pass. I mean, when it comes down to it...if I'm buying all the packs anyway...$93 shouldn't be much right? But still, that price is what keeps me away.
I bought the season pass because I am one of those silly completionists (and because my friends and I are obsessed with the random button), so I bought the season pass. So far it has been totally worth it for many reasons:

1. It was just 1 upfront cost that stated how much was in it.
2. It's a savings of at least 20%.
3. I don't have to pay for any dlc until June or so (well unless they release the preorder stuff. Only one I have have is showstopper encore.).
4. It's nice to get home and see that I can download the new dlc without having to pay for them.
5. I have been pleased with the dlc for the most part.

Sidenote: I hope that Phase-4 gets to keep this ninja costume as a returning costume in future games (they can alter the pattern though, next time maybe not camo).

I MAY buy this entire costume pack...but I'm mainly going to be buying the female costumes and buy some more costumes for Nyo this week.

Can't go too overboard since I plan on buying FFIX

Me want Kasumi

any one know how much SK costume, i estimated that the price will be $24.99

I think it'll be $19.99.

Hopefully TN picks the best SK outfits and puts them on the right characters. This would be the first whole pack (that wasn't a debut pack) I'd buy since the pop idols costumes.

Kasumi as Asuka and Marie Rose as Mirai are great starts so far.

The SK pack shouldn't really be any more than the bikini/fetish packs I mean its not like its a full roster set like Halloween my guess is it'll be at the very least £15-£18

The Ninja packs themselves ae about £12/£13...

Can we seriously stop talking about costume appropriateness already? Costume packs have themes if we actually followed said themes, a good chunk of the costumes wouldn't fit ANY of the characters(The MMA fighters, Tecmo Bowl, etc.) and other games that do DLC costumes don't really care if they are appropriate either(USF4 Furry costumes anyone? Or Maid outfit pieces in SC5?)

Don't like the theme? Don't buy, but seriously, it's getting ridiculous hearing this same thing again and again and otherwise doing nothing about it.

Thank you, many times over, this!

With respect to those that disagree, logically.... At the end of the day all characters belong to Team Ninja. The persona of said 'fictional' characters is theirs to control. People have a tendency to build up these personalities in their own minds, and when Team Ninja's idea and the fans' ideas don't match there is a conflict. It's a subjective notion, but it's Team Ninja's IP not the fans.

Well then, you missed the point anyway.
Ninja in general aren't even SUPPOSED to wear those outfits and was mainly used in stage plays(real Ninja, ironically enough, dressed more like people in Naruto, pretty much look like average joes and shmoes until they reach their target and strike).

Atleast with Kunoichi, it's dress as provocatively as possible to get near the target and kill them so they got that much,
Kinda.
Its the full black outfits like Ryus c1 that were for stage plays. The deep blues like his c2 actually are good for night missions.

Are you kidding me lol?

We aren't "building up these personalities in our minds", we are pointing directly to their canon defaults, what they actually do and wear in story mode.

I'm pointing at the characterizations that Team Ninja built up and are now throwing out in favor of dlc sales, not some imagined fan ideas.

Nah.

Also sf4 and soul caliber Aren't the best arguments lol. Bit of a difference between having one or two outfits, or having a large selection of outfits to get a feel of a characters. Like we have no idea what the sf or sc characters would wear outside of their battle outfits because its never been shown. We have been shown a wide variety of outfits the DOA characters would and do wear though, which is why the randomly slapped on outfits are that much more jarring.

Also the mma outfits actually fit pretty well, considering they all practice some form of Martial Arts, with a Mixed variety between them lol. Its literally just a sparring getup. Be different if it was a full endorsed outfit like Milas c1 but its not.

All that said, can't wait for Leons outfit. Here's hoping its Doku.

I would like to see a copy of this canon you speak of... Unless you work at Team Ninja, I'm sure you don't have a copy of it... You have built up in your mind that character X has to wear Y in versus just because they did in story mode. This argument is invalid. Team Ninja has never said that Versus is Story Mode, and that Versus must adhere to the rules contained within. #ImaginedFanIdea

That's sad but it's true. Good DLC was first (free one) becouse it included old costumes and i like casual and legacy. In my opinion those are the best and the most appropriate.
I agree.

Oh and LOL @ hardcore "outfit fans" getting defensive over people's opinions.

If someone thinks an outfit is complete trash, there's no need for you to cry with a paragraph. Just ignore their comment and move on.

This is a forum, if somebody posts nonsense such as "what is appropriate", then chances are somebody is going to reply to it.
