Well then, you missed the point anyway.
Ninja in general aren't even SUPPOSED to wear those outfits and was mainly used in stage plays(real Ninja, ironically enough, dressed more like people in Naruto, pretty much look like average joes and shmoes until they reach their target and strike).
Atleast with Kunoichi, it's dress as provocatively as possible to get near the target and kill them so they got that much,
Kinda.
Its the full black outfits like Ryus c1 that were for stage plays. The deep blues like his c2 actually are good for night missions.
Thank you, many times over, this!
With respect to those that disagree, logically.... At the end of the day all characters belong to Team Ninja. The persona of said 'fictional' characters is theirs to control. People have a tendency to build up these personalities in their own minds, and when Team Ninja's idea and the fans' ideas don't match there is a conflict. It's a subjective notion, but it's Team Ninja's IP not the fans.
Are you kidding me lol?
We aren't "building up these personalities in our minds", we are pointing directly to their canon defaults, what they actually do and wear in story mode.
I'm pointing at the characterizations that Team Ninja built up and are now throwing out in favor of dlc sales, not some imagined fan ideas.
Can we seriously stop talking about costume appropriateness already? Costume packs have themes if we actually followed said themes, a good chunk of the costumes wouldn't fit ANY of the characters(The MMA fighters, Tecmo Bowl, etc.) and other games that do DLC costumes don't really care if they are appropriate either(USF4 Furry costumes anyone? Or Maid outfit pieces in SC5?)
Don't like the theme? Don't buy, but seriously, it's getting ridiculous hearing this same thing again and again and otherwise doing nothing about it.
Nah.
Also sf4 and soul caliber Aren't the best arguments lol. Bit of a difference between having one or two outfits, or having a large selection of outfits to get a feel of a characters. Like we have no idea what the sf or sc characters would wear outside of their battle outfits because its never been shown. We have been shown a wide variety of outfits the DOA characters would and do wear though, which is why the randomly slapped on outfits are that much more jarring.
Also the mma outfits actually fit pretty well, considering they all practice some form of Martial Arts, with a Mixed variety between them lol. Its literally just a sparring getup. Be different if it was a full endorsed outfit like Milas c1 but its not.
All that said, can't wait for Leons outfit. Here's hoping its Doku.
