Like I said its possible, but not probable. for starters DOA fans don't necessarily even know Genshin and the hint said they would be happy and typically with cyborgs; you get them on the brink of death however we know Genshin long died we saw his ghost in Razors Edge, and the last time we saw his body it was transformed into a feind and at the bottom of Hell.

Genshin or Raidou I don't really care both have cool designs I just want a good moveset. yes I've repeaditly said I wanted a black spider ninja, but I want a more normal technically ninja mook that would show a different view of them. I keep imagining him having the characteristics of a penny pincher, because his generation has the burden of feeling the affects of Genshins failed war.

A great interview, very interesting in both the questions and answers done. Like always, when they want TN is able to show how there is reasonings and substances behind their games, the problem is that if the audience is not interested to them, consequently their words will be focused on different things (and this make sense). A shame, because gives the impression to think that there is nothing to say about the game when actually it's the opposite.

Also, reading that answer of Shimbori about pro wrestler able to beat ninja, I immedialtely thought to an hidden reference to Itagaki too XD

So Bass' damage on throws are higher, and you can do P 3-4 times in row before they drop out? Nice.

I could be wrong, but honestly I believe that they were talking only about how - currently - the VF characters differently works compared to the DoA's ones, a different balance for them having in mind the idea that they are guests and that exceptions can be done for them for fitting better their styles or their players in DoA5.

The presence of Genshin would be awesome, but honestly I believe more likely that they could have used some of his design's features on Raidou. In both the cases be sure to see in the game the "Underworld drop"

PS: On a sidenote I like all the ninja of the franchise, Hayate and Yaiba included.

I would prefer Genshin or Yaiba than Raidou, but I guess everybody is right and it's Raidou. Still, I'm willing to see how he looks. I would love to see a new movie where we can see him and some new costumes and hairstyles as well.

I did a check on Tetsu Inada and he did Raidou's voice in Dimensions.
I hope this is legit info though.

I was hoping for Yaiba too (controversial opinion I know) and got really excited when I saw the robot eye teaser... till I realised it was the wrong eye to be Yaiba. I've got nothing against RoboRaidou though. I'm sure he will make a great addition.

Don't trust Gamestop on such things, both online and offline. I suggest you to wait a bit, maybe a month before release?
