For a while now I wonder what this site, which is promoted on the Japanese FFXV Twitter account all the time, is about...

It's about Chocobos and their trainers/breeders, that's for sure and there are some pretty pictures and graphics:

The guy (Wiz?) with the beard and the Cocobo Ranch you see in some of the pictures are from the Duscae region and could be visited in the demo.

(The chocobos are so pretty and act so believable. :3 Sometimes they coil up to sleep but wake up when they hear your steps coming closer.)

According to this site there seem to be other ranches and other trainers/breeders (all female) scattered throughout the world.

I can imagine there will be some sort of sidequest to do with involving them all. I'll look forward to seeing the Chocobo for myself!

That's also the game maker's plan. They often stress that with the XIII-triology, which you are imho well-advised to avoid, Final Fantasy has lost it's charm and with it many fans and thus Final Fantasy's leading role in JRPGs. They want to change that again and in order for them to succed they can't just win former fans back but they also must win new players for the series. They will make it as entry friendly as possible and if it also really manages to recapture the charm of older FFs then you will be in for a treat.

I personally would never buy a game I like just digitally. I need to own it physically. Unfortunately the only available special addition (apart from the super expensive and already sold out one) has this Amano design all over it...which I have to say looks very ugly to me. I don't like the drawing style and I don't like the mishmash of colors. I also wouldn't want that as my PS theme. D:

So I'll probably just buy the regular game edition after all. I kinda dig the cover:

Wow, that is the first time I heard you say something remotely positive about something that was shared here regarding FFXV. o__O

Gameinformer again updated their FFXV coverage! This time it is about the animations, which are probably the best we've seen in any video game yet, so very interesting video:

The lead animator has the highest sitting eyebrows that I ever saw on a man. It looks like he is surprised all the time. XD

You have clearly missed all the parts where I've said I'm actually excited about the game lol the only gripes I have are with the gameplay.

I'm still excited though because gameplay isn't always everything, look at FFXIII, I love XIII but can't stand the completely garbage gameplay.

Dissidia looks graphically so good! It puts all other so far announced fighting games too shame and it has so much more characters, bigger stages and effects on screen at the same time. >__<

Wow, the ATR was boring. XD They just recapitulated the Uncovered event for Japanese fans. Just two interesting announcements:
That super expensive Ultimate Collector's Edition will be restocked by 10.000 more.

By the way have they actually said if this angler set etc. is added on stuff to fishing and whatever or do you need these dlc to actually be able to do them?
