I don't know exactly who this Gilgamesh is(Heard the name once from some guy who decided to start a petty fight in the YT comments section with me) but if DB and Awesmic's hype reactions are justified, I can tell he'll be interesting to fight. That may motivate me to buy Gladio's DLC then, I originally wasn't going to buy it.
Course, we can't get too much for hopes up yet. Going by @Tyaren pics, it does leave me on edge that it might not be the same Gilgamesh but rather taking an Iron Giant concept and just calling it Gilgamesh (which, I do hope that's not the case and hopefully that large thing is just a regular boss Gladio encounters.) - Gilgamesh talks with the characters and players, he wasn't exactly a monster in some aspects either since he was also a summon in the past. (Mostly going with FFV and his alterations after it.) - Gilgamesh as a character had a really cool sense of humor and had these intense hilarious dialogues. Such as:
Gilgamesh: Let's see how you handle the mighty me! And by me, I mean Gilgamesh!! And by handle, I mean DIE!
Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter! Now we fight like men...! But for Gilgamesh? It's MORPHIN TIME!
Gilgamesh: BAAAAAARTTTTZ I FOUND YOU!!!
and so on.
But regarding Gilgamesh? that dude is nuts. He's about as strong as a high-tier summon in FF lore from default raw power scaling and that's not even untapped potential, which is why he's been considered an optional superboss numerous times. Any weapons he finds he can practically use at will as he wish which puts him even more of a step up for FF casts. It's literally suicide to challenge that guy 1 vs 1 since he's got his own fighting style while wielding multiple swords all at the same time (depending on his form) and gets even more powerful and serious when he's losing. Most battles against Gilgamesh is with a party so I'm still trying to find out as to how Gladio would win because technically if Gladio manages to beat him solo then by logic Gladio should be just as powerful as Bahamut, but that doesn't make sense either...see where I'm going with this? - In terms of FFXV's cast, I feel it would make extremely more sense if it was Noctis vs Gilgamesh since Noctis has Royal Arms which can spark interest for Gilgamesh because he's moving through dimensional rifts to find the best weapons in all the FF lands.
I want Gladio to win of course (and Gladio isn't weak, but power scaling is odd at the moment) unless Gilgamesh screws up again playfully for viewers to enjoy with his faithful companion Enkidu, which is my favorite thing about him. He's the type to have a climatic battle and trip on the floor near the end which results in the party in trying to figure out what is up with this guy and end the battle there. Want to see Gladio's response on that lol.

Final Fantasy XV‘s first round of downloadable content is set to drop on December 22, Square Enix revealed today. Two types of content will be available with the Holiday Pack and Holiday Pack Plus – the latter available exclusively for Season Pass holders.
In addition to the Holiday Pack, fans can download a new update adding New Game Plus, and a photo frame feature for social media uploads. Both Holiday Packs will be distributed at the same time as these free updates.
New Game Plus will allow you to bring your clear data over to a new game. SNS photo framing will allow fans to attach photo frames when posting to social networks.
The Holiday Pack includes a number of optional items including accessories that make it easier to obtain items, items that eliminate stamina cost and tickets for a carnival set for late January. The Carnival Style outfit will also be available in January.

A bunch of accessories helpful for playing FFXV and a pack of carnival tickets for the January event.

Well, that looks very stupid... XD I hope this is just the case because they are free and because there will be good costumes along the way too that will cost a little something...

I don't like the idea of having tickets for future "events".
Also, I don't know if I should buy the season pass right away or wait once all the DLC are released. To be honest I was expecting costumes even for the other bros... that Carnival costume isn't worth it. It looks way too funny and I would only use it in Lastallum or Altissia.... kind of > Walking in Altissia wearing a sombrero with a french-like background music LOL.
That Mog Choco T-Shirt is something I'd NEVER let Noctis wear.

These costumes will be only available in late January or February. Here in Europe and over in South America it's carnival time then. People actually wear stuff like that. It's like Halloween just more lighthearted and wacky.

Yeah, I don't know what they thought regarding his in-game casual outfit with the ball cap. x__X Maybe it was meant as a joke of him wanting to stay incognito because he's the prince? He just overdid it a little?
This chocobo/moogle atrocity is actually just a lazy recolor of that outfit.
Lol, I thought that the music that they chose for Altissia wasn't Italian but French. Walking around I thought...hm...something doesn't quite fit here. The music they had playing in the Platinum demo fit Atissia's Venice theme so much better. I also thought they were going for the typical Venice carnival theme, which looks like that:
But Instead they went for another kind of carnival.
The Mariachi outfit is only for season pass owners if I understand that correctly.

I don't know, it seems to be temporary. These costumes are for the carnival activities DLC and the description says that it's just available for a limited amount of time.
There will also be a level cap item (though you mostly seem to be concerned to max out everything as soon as possible. XD) and an item that stops friendly magic fire. Cyber will like that and I will definitely use these too.
