Wait wait wait wait. I just had to read the past couple posts before this page because this thread is hilarious, and some people here call themselves FF fans? what in the world?
Starting with Kuja. This villain hailed from one of the top 5 FFs that's still top 5 till this day. Why are people disappointed from this is beyond me. If Noctis didn't appeared so what? people have to remember that this is a damn VANILLA build. It's the starting arcade port that's testing the waters for more to come. It's the new build for newcomers and past players to get their feet wet in the game. If people want Noctis *He will come* but don't expect for him to be in early first reveals when Noctis is a newbie to the damn series, he's not a veteran character. He does not get any special privileges because you said so. (
@Awesmic isn't FF9 like your favorite game or some shit? I'm surprised you didn't make a post about it considering that the thread needed some sort of key surprise on how well this game did.)
Nomura helped creating the story of FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII without being a director with Kitase that performed tremendously well and even the KH series. This guy got his issues like any other devs but what he put out together with the team was no damn joke. He is under the palms of Square Enix who would rather play with their cellphones at lunch break than sitting that ass down to work like the good ol days of Square Soft when they weren't being hilarious pessimists to their every day social work base. Nomura is not a man you want to sleep on. Shit, he was an actual director of FFXV until 2013 but I rather have him than Tabata because he is highly more believable to making it good even if it takes centuries to finally put out the damn game.
Personally I don't give a damn who appears from the games at this very time, but you can't be surprised with the outcome here because there is a reason for them and they are "valid" reasons. I rather have Beatrix than Kuja real early in Dissidia, but Kuja gets his credit so we have to give him that.
