So episode Prompto is coming out on June 27th! So just two weeks away pretty much. Apparently it's metal gear solid type of thing? So we'll see how that goes.

And honestly as someone knows doing driving lessons right now trust me when i say I wish I could drive off the road. So the new car thing honestly is okay to me. Don't know if I'll do anything with it since I've already done the main game but whatever.

Also what's with all the hallways? FFXIII is often referred to as Final Hallway XIII but XV has literal hallways everywhere

You are comparing corridors of FFXV to FFXIII's linearity. There is a difference there.

But yeah, there are also some in FFXV. I wouldn't be surprised about it seeing as massive games are the bigger consumption of things to that for who knows why.

That's not a serious complaint/criticism its just really funny to me, it's still pretty bad how ridiculously linear XV gets though.

The last 1/3 of XV makes XIII look almost open world lol.

If I was to seriously criticise anything its how the plot is sliced up into tiny pieces like movies, side games, dlc episodes anime etc. That if you don't consume most/all of it you can't grasp the story or get into it at all.

I mean the hallways are really only once you get to the train section and after that. And then there's chapter 13 where it really is literally just hallway after hallway, Which honestly It was kind of creepy with the robots stalking them and having to sneak out then run into the rooms to hide and stuff.
At least when I played through it though the ring was pretty much useless but I think they improved that.

That's good to hear as well that episode Prompto will have side quests though, Hopefully it has a little more to it and isn't an Episode Gladio kinda gig where It's done within an hour and doesn't have much more to do in it. ( besides get his topless outfit ) I won't get my hopes up for a complete open world with a town or anything but it's at least cool to see that they're making it more worthwhile. ( Especially since Prompto is better than Gladio anyway ) I wonder if we'll get his beanie outfit he's wearing in this episode for the main game?

I bought the season pass for this game months ago so I'm still getting this. And then there's still Episode Ignis to come out.

Omg how have I not seen that trailer! :O Consider me hyped now. I hadn't seen Aranea or the snowmobile. ( or the vast majority of what was shown there ) This episode looks so much better than episode Gladio there isn't even a comparison. It seems we'll get to learn more about Aranea and Prompto and also closure on Prompto's father ( a spoiler but honestly the games 15 years old at this point. )

It almost looks like a third person shooter at some points but it looks fun regardless. It also looks like you can actually play as Aranea too which I'm sure @Project Bokuho will be dying over. ( tbh I will be too though. )

Lol good point actually, I remember Tyaren always mentioned you when it came to Lightning as well. The reason I thought she was playable as well as a party member was because of that split second where the camera is from her perspective but now that I think about it that's probably just those limit break moves that your party members can do. Still I'm just happy to see more of Aranea and her being a party member is great.

That's exactly what it is, in the bottom right it says Prompto and Aranea - Dragoon Dive is highlighted.

I guess after Noctis told Aranea about Prompto in Chapter 12 in Tennabrae she was like "welp, time to save that useless kid *sigh*"

Aranea is in too? Well, now this is a lot more interesting. She also has a different costume/techinque, so it's pretty much confirmed she'll be a party member in the (near) future lol.
It also seems that the snow area, or a small part of it, will be explorable. Side quests with Arenea? Hell yes.

Btw, I'm noticing something here..... Cor was in Gladio's episode, Arenea is now in Prompto's.... does this mean that we'll see Iris with Ignis?? Yes, please.

The thing also is that Gladio and Prompto's episodes are about things that at the time of the maingame were completely unknown about and so they could do whatever they really wanted with their's but with Ignis' we know that it's him evacuating ( I think ) people from Altissia before the big leviathan fight so I'm not sure how much room they have to do things with that? Obviously they should show how he was injured but besides that I don't know what else?

What about Luna...? Would make more sense, since Luna was actually in Altissia while Iris was back in Lucis.

I mentioned Iris because she was one of the 3 guest members in the main game, but yeah, Luna would be better (she was kinda busy in that moment though xD)

Edit : also, if Iris appears they can take the excuse of her simply travelling to Altissia for some dumb reason as some time has passed when the Leviathan fight takes place.
