I'm not a fan of the episodic thing either, but I have no idea how it will work out in the end. I'm not gonna go crazy and jump to conclusions. I just hope the game itself turns out good.
Got to talk with Tom Lee very briefly today about Dissidia and TN in general and learned a couple of things (I let him know just how excited I am about the game).
Probably the most important and surprising thing about Dissidia is that TN was approached by Square to make the game and TN has complete control of the project, Square is the mothership but TN is the crew and machines inside it. I thought this was the most surprising and best bit of info I learned.
The villains are coming but may be coming one at a time. He didn't give me dates or a final cast but it sounded like it will be something of one update after another for arcades.
If you ever see this, Thanks Tom! Looking forward to talking with you again.
I did not. I wanted to but Tom is incredibly good with NDAs. I made a joke about possible TN projects and he just laughed at me.
bad news for anyone that was planning on getting this for PC

Good to see Lightning Returns is getting a sequel.

- The reproduction of original events will be done carefully, as social situations on certain things were different back in the day. For example the bath house scene at the Honey Bee Inn.
I heard it's been getting worked on since before the announcement of the ps4 port last year. Not sure what the benchmark is for 'we finally got started,' if it's only what we saw in the trailer or what.
- Its current development status is at a stage where they can say that they were finally able to get started.
Isn't the whole game technically dlc in that you're paying for pieces of it at a time
- Hidden events that were not included within the original due to hard placement and development time, likely to add downloadable content such as Sephiroth and the Turks.
