Yeah I loved that scene not to mention that now that I've played FFX I actually know the summon that was shown in the parade. And I loved Carbuncles little southern accent when talking to Vanille!

Even if unlike me you didn't enjoy the game its good that you atleast got the design and graphics from it, personally though I loved it in all ways.

I actually did enjoy playing XIII. I think I even played two times through the game. Objectively it was a good game with a very high production value (something I always enjoy even if the gameplay doesn't quite match it, like with The Order 1886. )...it just wasn't a good Final Fantasy. It changed or completely scrapped too many aspects that actually made a Final Fantasy so great in the past. If XIII would have been a spin off, like FF Crystal Chronicles or World of Final Fantasy I think it would have been received a lot better and remembered much more fondly.

Okay now I understand where your coming from. after playing FFX I can understand certain aspects from that game and previous ones that you could have missed from XIII.

With FFX I can yet again understand this because while I did still like the summons and thought they looked good them all being mechanical made them not stand out as much from each other. I loved how they looked in FFX and I'm happy to see they look like that in FFXV. Sheva looks amazing in FFX and instantly became my favourite, they all look super different and creative like Anima is terrifying but then there's the Magus sisters who are silly.

I enjoy the characters, world and story of XIII, everything else was complete garbage and a real grind to get through. XIII-2 allowed us to do slightly more exploring and we got see different time periods and listen to more amazing music, but like XIII it lacked in alot gameplay wise.

Lightning Returns had open cities and regions to explore, people to converse with and help and had a variety of garbs to customise Lightning both outfit wise and strategy wise, it also had a plethora of weapons which I loved. It completely lacked in any and all character development and the overall story was the worst and I hate lightnings personality (what's even left of it)

Out of the trilogy I actually liked the gameplay in FFXIII-2 the most so maybe I'm just weird. LR's was still good though, mainly being able to have complete control over moving and blocking.

I kind of wish FFXV platinum demo had the full battle system in it because I wanted to see if I liked it or not. I'm looking forward to how open it is though and how you don't even go through a transition.

The last battle in the Citadel against the giant is apparantly very close to what the battle system is like in the final game. Unfortunately they didn't explain anything in some kind of tutorial. Even now people are discovering stuff you can actually do in that final battle. I played three times through the demo and I never found out how to warp up the building. :/

Same, I kept trying to do it and eventually just gave up. The battle system was fine but I know I'll have to take a while to get used to it.

XIII gameplay was very good, probably the best part of the game, the folks at etrosgate.com really showcase the depth of the system.

I couldn't get into it, the auto battle is what I hear most people complian though.

Omg yeah I love the Seymour battle theme, I'll admit though that I can enjoy it a lot more now that I've completed the game and I'm not dying of the stress of losing to him any more, does anyone else get like over the top stressed out while playing FF bosses?!

I wonder how they will handle paid for DLC in this game after seing them announcing so much different stuff already. Hopefully you can buy all that outside of preordering or special editions and hopefully it won't be that expensive...and hopefully we will get more car skins and most of all more alternative costumes for everyone, inspite of that darn Roen contract. D:
