So, I just finished watching today's live stream. Nothing new except for the "Wait Mode" and the Titan summon.
In the full game you're able to set the battle mode to "action" or "wait". If you set it to wait, the game freezes when selecting the target, and you can also choose what abilities the allies have to use. I like this addition and I'm probably gonna use for the beggining of the game.
Edit : It seems the game pauses automatically when you aren't inputting

Alright, this is the final English voice acting of Final Fantasy XV:

Phew, Noctis isn't sounding like Batman anymore. That's great. XD
The German and French versions have yet to be revealed... :/ But I'm going to stay with Japanese anyway.

Here's also some new combat gameplay:

Ready for FF XV and VII. :D Played XV's demo and I kept getting this KH vibe from it (although it looked much different than what I've seen from most of the gameplay vids).

The actual game is pretty different in what you do and how you fight. ;) The Platinum Demo was supposed to be more of a tech demo. Only the battle against the giant at the end was a stripped down version of the actual combat system.

The next anime epsiode of FFXV has also been released and subtitled:

Nice story...although a bit kitschy. But I like Prompto even more now. :)

Okay, shamelessly double posting but there was a pretty cool and imho important announcement regarding FFXV's combat system. During combat there will be a "Wait Mode" available.

The combat is pretty fast paced and some players might find it overwhelming, especially against a group of very fast enemies (those damned demonic dogs! XD), so if you want to, you can activate the "Wait Mode" at any time to stop time for a while (not unlimited). While the time is stopped, you can pan the camera, look what exactly is going on around you, log onto different targets, use magic and potions and give cues to your allies. It's not really just an "Easy Mode" but it is also meant to enhance and deepen the combat and to strategize a little more.

You can see the mode in action and with explanation in this video (0:53):

I think this mode is a really cool addition. :)

@David Gregg, I would recommend to watch the whole presentation (starting 27:16) to everyone who isn't exactly sure of what FFXV will be about and how the battle system works. It's explained by Tabata, the director of the game, quite well here.

That episode was definitely a lot better than the first one. And yeah it added a lot to Prompto's character and I like him more now. I feel like the XV characters and world are going to be incredibly fleshed out which is so great.

Problem with that is, it is not really fleshed out when you have to look up all the details of the characters and story with other media outside of the actual game. Just playing the game everything might feel pretty undeveloped and shallow. Lets see... :/

I hope that its developed in-game as well. We already know there will be a codex type thing so hopefully all the creatures we encounter will have a lore entry in that like in XII and they could have some immersive way to learn about the country and cities.

Here is by the way the by now infamous (because basically everyone is lambesting it) Titan E3 Demo running on the PS4.

It looks amazing but WTF is going on there? x__X

Apparently all you really have to do is stand there, press block when the button prompt flashes up and then in the end throw blizzara. All that warping and attacking is actually for naught...

... Well I missed that all... But from the sounds of what you said I'm guessing they didn't fix the problems people had with it in the demo?

It looked way better in the before image lol

Yep, pretty downgraded... :/

The Luminous engine in general seems to have problems with large open-world environments and LOD (rendering of objects in the far distance). The city and it's architecure look really basic from afar. Just look what happened to the domed building on the very left of both images. It's simplified beyond recognition.

You can see that problem also here on this newly released image (how could they even release something ugly like this?):

The hill and trees behind Gladio are just horribly rendered.

A similarly big open-world game like The Witcher 3 has hardly any problems with LOD as you can see here:

Yes, here the geometry is simplified in the distance as well but it still looks good to the human eye. @Jadeinchains can confirm that even the console versions do this really well and come very close to the shot above.
Additionally to the far better LOD the Witcher cites are also so much more detailed in close up view. They feel very life-like and lived-in. Altissia's streets in close up look as clean and sterile as a mall. Also there's too much repetion in the architecture. There are just two kinds of towers and maybe five kinds of facades reused everywhere over the whole city. You can spot that pretty easily. The Witcher's cities also do reuse assets of course but they do it in a way that you don't notice it at first sight, not even on second.

Lol Altissia looked much better before, and yeah, now it looks so lifeless and boring and even smaller, though it still looks good. They need to add more NPCs and more things going on in the streets.
Also, I can't believe they removed the bell tower, why would they even do that, considering it was one of the few architectures different from the others D:
Edit : I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the Basilica and the square as well :/
