Wow...this enemy looks beautiful and disgusting at the same time:

They fight that undead samurai at one point in the demo.

Some costumes look good some look very mismatched but that is probably because you can freely customize individual parts.

That creature was beautiful! I'm interested to see more things like that. I like how the clothes are just like casual clothing as well.

Yeah, the casual clothes are great, it suits the characters very nicely. I think the cap is my favorite part of the Noctis one, Prompto really can pull off the casual look too, I like the red shirt. Gladios and Ignis I prefer their original clothes.

Yeah I really like the cap Noctis is wearing as well, And the blonde guys called Prompto and the glasses guy is Ignis. All the customization options is making me wish their was a female party member. I'm definitely a fan of all of the casual clothing though.

Wait so drawing magic is back from FF8? Is that the only way to get magic in FFXV. If I remember your magic and health instantly filled up in XIII and in FFX there was health and magic potions to fill them up.

In FFVIII magic didn't consume MP. It was like an item, you could have, for example, 100 units of Fire, doing Fire in a battle reduces its number to 99. You could draw magic from monsters and from draw points on the field like it's shown in that gif.

Okay I'll have to see how I feel about that but I've managed to get used to XIII and X's stlyles so I'm sure I'll be able to get used to this ones.

I really don't like the idea of magic being an item (literally) and taking a weapon slot in FFXV either, though it still consumes MP, right?

Anyone remember how unbalanced FFVIII was with junctioning magic to stats and enemies leveling with you? I really enjoyed that Level 10 with 200-255 stats and 8k+ health and all the enemies were at their lowest levels because I was so low. I don't think square really thought that through but I loved being so OP

i dislike the choices they made, but not the choice. ill see what i can cobble together when i get the game. I already know this likely isn't going to be one of my favorite designed FFs thats for sure. some people like the realism i like to open a menu and see things ive never seen before. maybe a different store sells more specialized clothing in that regard.

So Aranea is the name of that Dragoon lady! She looks really good so I'm excited to see how she plays out as an antagonist. So Gentiana's dress is amazing, did they change her face though or is she just wearing different make up?

Yeah, she looks different. Probably because instead of shiftily smirking she just has a normal look on her face. Also more of her face is covered by the way her hair falls along her cheeks. That also let's her appear different. I like smirky Gentiana better...

Out of Cindy, Iris and Aranea though Aranea definitely has the best design to me.

Also I wonder if Luna wants to slap her assistant for showing up to work and trying to out do her?

They dont fit my aesthetic thats why...

I'm not into the whole princess thing, I like cute, strong and battle ready characters.
Aranea fits all of those criteria, shes cute, shes a Dragoon Knight so shes definitely strong and her armour implies shes ready for a fight anytime.

Plus, I LOVE bad girls, the whole justice fueled goody two shoes thing doesn't make a interesting character.

Cindy has sex appeal but, she also has that raw boyish personality that I like and Iris?... uh Iris is just cute
