So here are my findings in going through Ascension with Asecension points (AP). Whatever you do, do not buy the sprinting stamina increases (Sprinter, Distance Runner). It is worthless since the game has the option to allow infinite stamina to begin with using a refill trick. Do not invest into this point, invest into this when you are done with everything else on Ascension.
- There's a glitch on Savior's Force where an ally's attack will stack after constantly picking them up near K.O/faint/dead.
- Quick Tech from everyone is so good, as well as Tech Damage when Noctis suffers damage.
- Prompto's Gravisphere (2 tech bar) and then Greatsword swings. Especially for those weak against Greatswords, this works tons better if you have Quick Tech from everyone.
- Airslip is important if you are using Javelin. Javelin has some attacks from standing that leaves him in the air, so you have the option to also dodge in the air.
- Impervious skill, holy shit.
- Analyze (Ignis) is useful, doesn't work for some enemies such as certain Daemons but it's still good. Think of this as Libra or Scan. The more you fight the enemy the more you uncover it's weaknesses.
- Accessory slots up to three is excellent. You can equip 3 strength attack bangles and wound enemies or equip 3 ballistic defense equips (Chobham Armor for example, 38% and more) to stop bullets for doing so much damage. Prompto for example has really low health, giving him 2 HP bangles and a Regen ring and he's almost equal to the rest in health.
I'm playing the demo now.....oh my god, the folk music playing in this car pushing sequence is literally warming me up, I love the road trip feeling....Aw fuck, Cindy just walked on screen...-_- The graphics are still really great on my ps4, although my system is humming on that fan something fierce XD
This happens to games that are mostly large in data usage, especially open world games. Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher, Batman: Arkham Knight, GTAV, and now FFXV. For the PS3, games like Mass Effect was a good example of this. Short story, you are safe.
Is that the one in the first map? Because I ventured down there on accident and got wrecked by two demon-like things (pretty sure it wasn't even the actual boss) so I retreated very quickly. XD (All my guys were level 6 at that point and I'm only level 9 right now).
Game is so much fun. Some people feel iffy on the Wait mode but it's been very helpful for me especially on the more difficult monsters like the iron giants which I finally beat for the first time. XD Haven't left the first map yet because there's so much to explore and I like doing side quests for the $$$.
You got it. Though on the fair side, it's not truly worth it to go down there due to battle experience being roughly converted on the initial base since the more you levels you go the higher it takes to go to the next level. If you go down there early (around level 10+ for simply beating the boss) you'll only receive like 6-7 level ups when you rest back at a camp or safe spot, you'd get that much in a day for daily side quests. Pretty pointless to go down there early really. Unlike the past FFs where going to a hard place will net you like 15-20 level ups.
