Huh, have to admit, I have a headache as well today. Just got back outside and hopped on FFXV. Literally in no less than 4 minutes, my head starts to hurt. Likely weather, but I barely played any FFXV the past few days.

Yeah I always get them this time of year regardless of how much I love the Winter its really annoying health wise! Hopefully it's better by Christmas. >~<

Even so I still want to check out the new dlc when it first comes out, I don't even know if it will be out at midnight as well or not until like the middle of 22nd.

So I'm on a certain quest where you have to look for a weapon in the ice cave tomb behind the waterfall. I'm having a lot of trouble fighting the ronin that appear. Any tips?

Not sure if anyone posted it earlier, but there has been an update for Dissidia Arcade that's been under the radar.

Effective tomorrow, the game will be getting a new stage - the Rabanastre Royal City - inspired by Final Fantasy XII. Aside from that, there was also a minor balance update specifically for Sephiroth, with reasonable nerfs. The range of his melee attacks have been reduced across the board, and more importantly, his HP attack Octaslash is no longer near-instant on startup, and has the same delay it had in Dissidia 012.

Here's the trailer for the new stage in Dissidia Arcade:

Your right you don't get the outfits until the festival I guess and besides the new accessories and tickets I don't see anything new to do.

In January seems to be when it will come into more effect with the festival. The season pass ticket says something like it takes you to a place where you can gget prizes etc and the normal ticket says something like it takes you to a wonderful place.

Sounds unexciting...especially what I thought it would be. XD
About the accessories. Any good/useful ones?

Interesting, I mean, it was reasonable actually. Great stage by the way, any other changes to Sephiroth? damage multipliers been changed as well too?

Just the ones thy mentioned like capping your level etc. I thought there'd be more but its clear they are waiting until the Festival in January for cool unlockables like outfits.

Damn! did you have to manually update? will check the store now. Yes let's go Level cap.

It automatically did the update earlier today and I had a feeling they'd update the psn store at midnight and they did so then I just downloaded them both for free since I have the season pass and tried them out.

I hope you like the accessories they have added!

Lol, they apparently added the first new story related cutscene to make things a little clearer. It's regarding Jared, who sparked an internet meme. I haven't found/seen the new scene yet but I imagine it goes something like this:

Noctis enters the Leville. Iris already awaits him, in tears.

Iris: Noct, it's Jared...he...he's dead! ;__;

Noct:

Iris: You know...Jared...?

A slide show of Prompto's snapshots starts playing accentuated by sad music. The photos show Jared on tour with the bros, riding in the Regalia, fishing, riding chocobos, slaying a behemoth, having the time of their life...

Noct: I...don't remember any of that...but he was obviously an awesome guy. :(

Noctis joins everybody being sad.

This quest on chapter 3 is bullshit. The mindflayers are so annoying to the point where I ended up dying because the parries don't work when I land the input on time. Now I have to start back at the entrance of the cave all over again lol

An interesting new piece of information about the game's story/lore makes the rounds. It apparently isn't mentioned in every localisation of the game but for example in the German one. There it is explained what's up with the iconic Duscaen meteor crater and Titan holding it up:

This very meteor was actually the source of the first Starscourge that Ifrit brought down onto earth. Now it makes sense why Titan is beneath it and holding it up all this time. As one of the gods more fond of humans, he saved them from complete annihilation by catching it and holding it up to prevent further contamination.
The glowing particles we see rising up in the air and the many NPCs mentioning how scorching hot it and the entire region has become, is the source and indiction of the arrival of the new Starscourge.

Wow, exploring this region and going down into the crater would have had so much more impact if we knew how important and vital to the story and lore that crater actually was. The way it was presented however seemed more like it was just a pretty landscape decoration. This game... :/
