Anyone get a chance to finish Fire Emblem: Awakening and see its multiple endings?

I enjoyed several of them though was disappointed they didn't take advantage of it more.

The next Fire Emblem has been announced today at Nintendo Direct. This time, your customized character will be the main protagonist of the game. There's also gonna be a Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem crossover.

i saw nothing new about the SMT crossover.

also im a little pissed off with that new fire emblem game. peace loving Hoshido vs war mongering Nohr? pretending like Japan's shit dont stink again i see.

Yeah my hype for that went down the tubes after seeing that trailer. It looks like neither smt nor fe, more like some super animefied game.

And with the other FE game, least your customized character will play a more important part since he/she is the main protagonist and not some sidekick tactician.

The gameplqy could be the best thing in the universe and I wouldn't care. the only reason I wanted this game was to see the return of Hitoshura

That was not what I was expecting from SMTxFE at all... I thought it was just going to be a normal crossover with FE and SMT characters. Instead it reminds me more of Persona. The only FE characters I recognized in that trailer were Marth (I think it's him) and Tiki. But I still think it looks pretty cool. Definitely looking forward to this.

Yeah I'm not liking it, nor am I really feeling the new FE either. It looks like they are super animefying the FE series and taking it away from the more western feel which I liked, I just hope that the marriage system and reclassing crap doesn't return. I personally am not a fan of the whole children thing and I really hate how reclassing makes a lot of the characters feel less unique. Like if I could have reclassed Ike into a dragonmaster then Haar wouldn't have been as awesome.

I disliked the reclassing in Awakening for the same reasons plus I felt it made almost everyone OP. Imo they should go back to making the games more like Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.

I haven't played a FE game since the 1st 2 on the GBA(still have them too after all these years, but no GBA sadly) and I haven't played a SMT game since P3. I'd love to try these new ones out

Reclassing and marriage are only OP if you grind enough to see their effects. Even then, what ultimately leads to everything feeling "less unique" isn't the ability to reclass, but the non-existent level cap which lets everything get around bad growths and achieve insane stats in the end. And sure, while the game lets you turn Maribelle into a frontline flyer, on anything higher than Hard it's like shooting yourself in the dick.
And I'd be more concerned about pair up and the map design if I were you. Fortunately they already fixed the former.

I grinded quite a lot in FE:A, so that would explain it for me. But, I still found it way too easy to get almost an entire army of OP characters compared to the other games like the Tellius ones, Shadow Dragon, and The Binding Blade when everyone was their own class. Imo it's just that reclassing has to go. Or at least give everyone only 1 choice to reclass into for skills.
