I had started a few designs, but between finals, work, and a few other things coming up I was only able to submit 2. Neither was completely finished but they were the most complete of all. I really wanted to finish my Lisa but I'll have to hold on to it for now.

Around 300 in the first one and around 400 in the second one according to Tyaren (honestly I don't remember the amount).
Yes, but all this inspiration come from peculiar outfits, that it's great anyway, but fans would like even casual designs contests. I hope that they will hold one of them next time =)

Like I said I really didn't know the existence of these (the latter found just now) before to start my design, I really didn't try to steal anything. By the way they seem to me really nice.
Also the author of the latter, Sandika Rakhim on twitter, make so much funny outfits in my opinion, maybe not all of them are Halloweenish but they seem so pretty xD

Honestly I think that the most famous Pirate Honoka, a design for Ayane and the one of @Shiranui (great work Shiranui, I absolute love it!) could be considered under this category or almost. The last two got around the double of usual number of likes from the reposting of designs from the profile of Team NINJA.

I don't think any costume could make me want to learn a whole new character 
That white armored P4 I was posted recently was amazing though, probably my fav. Oh also zombie Honoka. There's a ton of other great ones. Tecmo doesn't have to pay their artists for another year or two

I agree, these costumes are amazing.
By "fan favourite", I meant like Virak's Kasumi or Axouel's Marie-Rose. We knew for sure they would win.
This Ouroboros Queen Rachel is probably the best design from that contest. The colors, the accessories, the concept, the drawing skills. Wow.
Is it someone from FSD ?
PS : Don't mean to create false hype or anything, but that Bat Luchadora Lisa of Kodachi's has real chances to win in my opinion.

@TOBMAST3R good job like always, I really like Rachel's and Gen Fu's one! They seem to me really nice and original (such tongues xD) and overall very detailed! About Lisa sadly I think that the outfit could appear not very zombified without the particular funny pose and look that you gave her in the design, but it's nice to see that finally after so much zombie hunters we get even a zombie to hunt! xD By the way this is again full of details very original, I like all the signals of infected and danger that you attached, surely a way out from the usual standard for giving the appearence of a zombie.
Like always you demonstrate a great imagination, thing that sadly I completely miss (and mess xD).

As usual I'm only really interested in my mains. Not feeling any of the Mila designs except for the Frankenstein costume. I saw a few stereotypical "Spanish" costumes, and token stripper bee costumes. As for Leon I've only seen like three. Two jokes but I like the Juggernaut costume.

I wish all the drawings (from the three contests) were gathered on the DOA wiki. If I had time to do so I would try to start something. But that's too ambitious for one man.
