Did that many people really like that Christie costume from DOA?

I liked it. Granted, any new content in that game was appreciated since the majority consisted of recycled assets.

That's true, I do appreciate new content. It's just my opinion, I'm not saying anyone would agree lol...Trust me, I felt the same way about Kasumi's scarf costume. It looked awkward, especially considering we didn't even get a SNOW level in DoA4! lol

I think Kasumi's costume was a fan made costume, for a contest or something.

And since costumes is an important signature of DOA in my opinion, they should either organise a "Create your costume" contest, or propose the fans polls to determine which costumes from the past should make it.

And, I really want everyone's legendary costume to return. Kasumi already has her blue classic, Ayane her C1 from DOA2, Lei Fang her red dress, Hitomi her karate gi, Christie her beige assassin suit, and Kokoro her pink kimono.
Tina should have her black catsuit, Helena her opera dress (C1 or C2 from DOA2), and Lisa her luchadora costume.

I really like Tina's torn grey dress from DOA2. It was... sexy.

On the DOAEU site there was a "Create Your Own Costume" contest a few months ago, which was weird because that was the ONLY site I even saw that announced on. I didn't see it on Twitter, FB, or any of these DOA sites.

Edit: I take that back, apparently that was for Alpha demo(2 Character) codes.

Anyway, I agree they should have an official costume contest.

i just want Christie's DOA4 starting costume back in all its braless glory and before anyone says anything its not cause the boobs its cause it just shows how badass Christie is that she just doesnt give any fucks.no other character could pull that off.

^ Her default DOA4 costume was pretty dumb looking imo and was my least used costume. I think that the whole braless thing was stupid, and she should have had something there. The thing I liked about it was the flames.

Her DOA5 costume was a slight mixture of both her primary and secondary from DOA4. But as London said, it would be ideal if we had some form of color edit mode so that we can change the color of costumes completely. A simple coat of new paint can make an outfit look all and different.

Personally would like to see homages to other fighting game characters.

Zack with an eyepatch, or a necklace full of skulls.
Tina in an R. Mika styled costume.
Kasumi wearing camo pants like Cammy in her Final Fight appearance.
Lei Fang or Pai (since we know she's coming) in a blue track suit.
Bass in army pants and a red headband.
Rig in a traditional TKD gi with blue trim, or replace the top with a blue sleeveless shirt.
Helena as Lisa Lisa from JoJo's (okay, not really a fighter, but work with me here).
