I think during the last round (either 2, 3 or 5-round matches), you play on the tiger area, and there is no logical transition. Or you can select it directly from the stage menu. That's what I understood.

sWooZie, and the guy he played, along with myself were the only ones who played her at the tournament. I don't know if you are keeping up with the comments in this thread fully or the most recent IPL tournament thread. But there is a reason he played DOA4 Kasumi.

As of right now, more or less, she is DOA4 Kasumi. I'll find out more about her this weekend.
That's basically what I thought. She's DOA4 Kasumi. Making her not amazing. Though, I'm kinda okay with it. She's still fun.

Even in DOA3, Kasumi played like DOA4. It's just her style of play... and probably why Itagaki made DOA4 like it was since Kasumi was his favorite.

Yeah, Thanks to the way stuns are, some of her moves became useful. Like her 2K or 66PP(I think). Her 6K became terrible, though.

I like how she plays, so I'm happy. But at the same time she didn't get any better.

I didn't see anyone use her new tools at the IGN tournament. And I was waiting for someone to use :K::K::7::K::6::P::+::K: in a juggle but didn't see it.

These will need to be tested to see if they still work in the latest build, but I believe her biggest improvements are:

:9::P::K: causes guard break and can be followed up by her teleport slice down attack :P::+::K:. I saw it in the Tougeki video and I just want to confirm that. And on hit, it causes sit down stun and she can launch the opponent with her knee like we saw in the Angel Bunnys trailer. I want to know if it works on an opponent in critical stun. This could be a nice mixup.

:P::+::K::P: causes sit down stun when the opponent is in critical stun. :6::6::K::K: causes sit down stun as well but seems to easy to avoid. She has more options after :P::+::K:.

:6::6::P::P::6::P::+::K: can be useful. She teleports into Hoshinpo and if the followup punch is safe on block then it can be a nice mixup. She can usually be interrupted when going into hoshinpo but I'm hoping the teleport prevents that. No one ever seems to followup with the teleport though.

Her parry is back to DOA2/DOA3 status so it's going to be much better IMO.

And it looks like the stun after :P::P::P::P::P:, :P::P::6::P::P:, and :6::P::P: is unholdable for some frames. Looking at the Swoozie vs. Persistent Stats video, you can see it 4 times (0:35, 0:58, 3:25, and 5:36) and there were no immediate holds. You could followup with the launcher :2::3::6::P: in DOAD so hopefully it will work in DOA5.

Yeah, love using her teleports. The biggest change to Kasumi is how her old moves work now. Thanks to stun property actually stunning. Kasumi has some nice options now.

She'll be playing DOA4 but actually have useful setups. Like a lot of moves in your post.

Was anybody able to see how to transition from the tiger area of the circus stage to the clown part? I still have no idea how that works.

There's no transition. All three are separate stages.

And it looks like the stun after :P::P::P::P::P:, :P::P::6::P::P:, and :6::P::P: is unholdable for some frames.

It's a sit-down stun so you can't hold out of it. You can still SE though.

Yes. There were three in the IPL build. I assume there are three in the GVN build as well.

I'm just confused, what's the third circus stage? The question you quoted was asking about the transition from the clowns to the tigers and you stated all three are separate stages? What's the third stage?

EDIT: I think you're third stage in question is "Sweat" as I just looked at the full post you quoted.

Japan was loving her more than Kasumi, so they had to make Hitomi more of a 'ditz' to make her 'cuter' to Japanese.

Still don't like her personality change from SF4 Makoto tom-boy to Cooking-lesbian-ditz.

I've been hearing people say that about her, but I really don't remember her personality from DOA3, as I didn't spend much time with it.
