Is your hype dying?

Honestly, with all of the spoilers/reviews being released along with previews/the bad online impressions/ and reality itself,

My year-long hype for DOA 5 has taken a couple of pokes, and a low hold here and there.

I was just wondering if anyone else's hype has been soiled at all?

Dont worry its not all that bad. The game itself is great. The online just has some getting used to. But once the community gets bigger, it will be alot more fun.

If i know about spoilers and dont want to find out about them i just dont click on the topic. Reviews to me are a joke unless its by community members who know all the ins and outs of the game. I care more about what the community thinks about a fighting game more than reviewers who dont know anything about the franchise. If youve noticed with most big media reviews the more popular fighting games get the better reviews.

To me popular doesnt mean a better game. On top of that some of the reasons why they sometimes lower the score is a joke. Reviews do matter though because casuals or people who are on the fence rely on reviews to make there purchase which is a shame. You really dont know how good a fighting game is until youve spent real quality time with it. The only thing im personally concerned about is the netcode.

Eh, reviews definitely don't decide which game I pick, but curiosity usually gets the best of me.

Their never pleasing to read, buuuut I haven't been anywhere near lead to second guess my CE Pre-Order,

It's just that it's never pleasant when you get hit with the "nothing's perfect" shtick.

Not me. I did not allow myself to be spoiled and I will wait for My doa5 on the 25th. Also, once I get into the lab, I can figure out some sick Tina/Leifang/Pai stuff.
