It seems that without Itagaki, the entire franchise is dying and any last words in case it may end up like post DOA4?

We may encounter a possible scenario like history repeating itself with post DOA4 and chances are that Team Ninja may have to halt the continuation of the games so that they can take the time to rebuild and review their mistakes so that they can know which direction to go into that Itagaki wants.

Though some may say that Itagaki is a mix bag when it comes to creating his games, he was no doubt the one who started the franchise and was not happy with the target audience fiasco of DOAD along with the greedy marketing of 5 and 6 that led him to becoming more disappointed now that him seeing his creation is now spoiled which could never be fixed again.

Why is that there is no new Ninja Gaiden games? DOA continues to become nothing more than a cash grab in 6 breaking the very premise that it began when it was first made.

I love the crossovers but I would rather if the DLC becomes free instead so that the entire game can focus on the competition route.

Because of the sexual content that was exploited, it was barred from ever becoming part of EVO again.

Thanks to such issues, the entire community is absent in person making online the only place to discuss and play the game per sake.

Any last words in case DOA may be finished? It may not be finished unless another industry purchases Team Ninja to lead them to the right direction. The likes of Capcom, Sega, and Bandai Namco can pretty much pull off an effort in order to steer towards back to DOA's golden days but unless if you have an opinion, comment here so that I can be able to provide a proper feedback to ignite endless theories and speculations about the future of DOA.

I mean, did you ever realize the first DOA was made as a cash grab? A 3D Fighter during the time the Fighter Genre was at its peak, and a way for Itagaki (a man who has said himself he isn't a fan of fighting games) to keep his employer in business by adding bouncing breasts to the genre and attract players to pop in $1 for a chance to play one of 8 characters?

This would not be possible without the DOA community. DOA players had no issue with $1000+ of DLCs or copy paste characters and DLCs. It worked/ is working if you consider DOAXVV.

Because of the sexual content
Don't forget to thank Itagaki for that.

Not surprising when DOA players are the clowns of the FGC. Other people are not kissing DOA's ass and that allows them to actually see DOA for what it is. Let me give you 2 examples:
  • DOA players defended the $1000+ of DLCs for years but now they suddenly start complaining about other games and their DLCs.
  • DOA has loads of copy pasting, from characters to DLC, but DOA players talk about other games being lazy, or copying and pasting.
You know how stupid that looks? There's a reason why the mere mention of DOA or DOA players makes people laugh and not take them seriously. It's a case of, "Look at yourself first before you start talking about others".

Any last words in case DOA may be finished?
As someone who only got into DOA when DOA5 released and knew nothing about DOA's history beforehand, DOA got what it deserved. Seeing the community going from DOA5 to DOA6, the things DOA people say about other games, and connecting them to what other people say about DOA clears a lot up.

Team Ninja won't be purchased any time soon. Koei Tecmo still needs guys who can make quality action games for collaboration with Nintendo/Square Enix and for their revived souls game.

The worst scenario is that they save Nioh as only their main series, and continuing working on collaboration projects for Nintendo and Square Enix. Ninja Gaiden will become or already became the good series from the past.
DOA will exists in form of gacha, as soon as gachas will become unpopular, servers will be closed.
But it the worst way. We exactly don't know what Team Ninja planning, the only known project they have in development is for Square Enix, there's a high chance that they have something else, anyway TGS next month, and TN have already revealed games for Nintendo Direct and E3
