Koei Tecmo is Doubling Employee Count

Koei Tecmo is planning a MASSIVE expansion to their business; doubling their employees from 2,500-5,000 which will of course mean more outstanding high-quality games. They've also mentioned that their key focus moving forward (despite making several big investments) that they will be moving back on mobile games so they can focus on more of what we want which is the home console and PC hardware experience.

Right now, Koei Tecmo is doing really well, probably drawing the most attention and money that they ever have. Koei Tecmo mentioned at the Prism party that Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation is one of the big reasons they are able to afford their current costs, and now we are beginning to see serious and substantial growth with the Dead or Alive name. Everyone wants Dead or Alive 7, and with this influx of money, company growth and employees; we might finally be at a serious talking point to get what we are banking on.

Despite there being a lot of new faces here, most of us at Free Step Dodge have been following Tecmo in some capacity since we were children or teenagers, and I don't think there has been a bigger company announcement since Koei and Tecmo merged almost 15 years ago. This is a pretty huge deal and definitely changes the landscape of what could happen with Team NINJA. For perspective, Activision is one of the larger game companies in the world and they have around 13,000 employees.

Alright! I take those words back into my mouth...they're fully take part as video games company. Unless their stocks trading/investments are their primary, good for them.
