DOA5LR Last Round Tag Interactions & Throws

So we're a little less than 3 weeks away from LR's release but who wants to wait that long to figure this all out especially when we have the opportunity to ask someone who's streaming it and can take requests? XD I figure at least having this thread early makes it easier to request tag partners since many people haven't seen all of the streams (leading to the same requests).

The one heads up I will give though is that I'm focusing on the newly introduced characters. If you find that a character from vanilla or ultimate has a new tag interaction/throw (obviously other than with a new LR character) please let me know and I'll add it. But I think we should stick to the new characters for now. Also I have a Possible Requests that people can put characters they think likely have interactions with (I've already added mine).

Sorry I'm just really bored right now. Can't draw because my comp is telling me it doesn't have enough scratch disc space to open anything in photoshop despite there being PLENTY, and I've got about 15 minutes of waiting in a lobby right now.

OBORO? Same name, but different throws. Kasumi's OBORO is done from hoshinpo (?) There's quite a bit of delay before the actual throw occurs. (The input is not 6(Hold)6T. Now, I can see 33T - as Phase 4 and Alpha have this)

But yeah, you're right! I can't wait to see it! Of course, my question is: why the hell now? She should have been had a partner and different tag throw. smh

I'm very interested in seeing if Nyo and Hayabusa have tag interactions. Team Ninja took down that whole "wants revenge on the ninja who killed Banko" story and replaced it with her motives now being hidden.

And of course a Honoka+Ayane tag team would lean even more towards the idea that they're half-sisters. XD

(A gust of wind suddenly blows Hayabusa off of the screen from behind).
Nyotengu: "KOKO DESU KA? Just kidding. But, a fine wind blows, nevertheless."

or...

(Hayabusa is just standing with his arms crossed, thinking about his next course of action. Nyotengu twirls her way on screen...)
Nyotengu: "The Female Tengu-"
(Hayabusa suddenly turns around, quickly grabbing Nyotengu to perform a deadly Izuna Drop)."
Hayabusa: "... Gets wrecked."

Ha ha I like how performing his izuna drop is his first reaction to seeing Nyo. XD

It would be awesome if their tag throw was some combination of Ryu's Izuna and Nyo's 2T. I don't know how it could work but I'd like to see it!

What is with the "half-sibling" shit? Could be worse, I know, but damn! Ayane, the bastard-child; she's half-sister to Kasumi. Then you have Helena and Kokoro being sisters! Now, Ayane and Honoka? I guess she and MR would be twin-sisters. Besides, Mugen-Tenshin, M.I.S.T. (Kasumi clones), the Douglas sisters, DOA is a "family" affair. Ironically, for an "M" rated, "I'm a shove T&A in your face game!" isn't actually the ideal family get together treat.

I can imagine Mila starting the grab into a barrage of punches and then an big uppercut and Leon catches them mid air, slams the onto the ground and does :236::P:. It would be cool and it definitely seems like something TN would do when it comes to re-using animations.

As for Leon starting, I can imagine him grabbing the opponent and throwing them towards Mila and she does Bass's Flying Body Press, lands on them and does her tackle punches.

Great idea for the thread! ;)

I believe that there is a possiiblity that Alpha-152/Nyotengu/Raidou could be teams with unique tag throws or intro/outro. All of them share a relationship with the boss status (2 got that role in the past, and one inherited the moveset of the DoA2 boss), and even TN noticed it considering that they were put all in the same column. So my requests would be for trying these three teams:

Raidou-Nyotengu
Raidou-Alpha
Nyotengu-Alpha

For the same reasoning of the column (that was a rule in the past DoA and for the majority cotinue to be such in the DoA5 series) I believe that Honoka could get a partner in Zack, so another possible request would be

Honoka-Zack

I would have requests even for the old tag missing in DoA5/5U (someone said that they are missing even in Last Round, but I'm not so sure if he got a confirmation for it); if now Akira and Jacky have even intro and outro; if now Jacky has intro/outro or tag throws with Pai.... by the way if you say to keep this only on the new characters, don't consider them.

Did you mean the one between Kasumi and Phase 4 shown recently in Last Round? Or Alpha-152 has a special tag throw with Kasumi from DoA5U (or Vanilla) and I'm hearing it just now? O_O

Ahaha! Actually I don't think that it's really different from the mess that happens in Tekken with the Mishima family! XD

By the way Ayane is half-sister with Kasumi and Hayate... and even half-cousin too! XD

Actually I don't know now. But I know that Phase 4 has tag throws with both Kasumi and Alpha and I think I remember Kasumi having the same one that Phase 4 has with Alpha (maybe someone who has their 5U game can check for us). I'll have to watch the streams later.

-similar powerhouse playstyle
-both revealed at the same time in 5U
-both next to each other in character select
-both rely heavily on air throws
-strongest man in the world and strongest woman in the world, shit writes itself

I always thought that Ryu was strongest man in the world by Canon....
