"since you dont have the patch yet?"

This line from your previous post confused me. lol. I take it you meant to say since "I" don't have the patch yet?

My bnb was CB 9kk ppk h+k for a force tech and not once anyone teched before the last hit... After patch in raining with recovery on it does...

Something is funky with auto-tech in training in 1.03. Select a light- or midweight as an opponent, then try Critical Burst > 8K > 9KK > PPK(HK) with auto-tech enabled. The AI doesn't tech it, ie. it gets hit by (HK) and is force-teched. Record that combo and have the AI use it on you, however, and you can tech it. My guess is that the AI is teching a frame too slowly. If you try the combo on a mid-to-heavyweight like Akira, he hits the ground a split-second sooner and techs normally.

The one point difference is the same for normal, counter, or hi counter. I just love to show hi-counter stats because that shows the highest damage possible from the combo.

Let's not use the advanced mid kick hold and just use the regular mid kick hold. These are the damages.

using 4KK

6H > 4KK > 236P > 66K or 9K > 9KK > 3PP6PP = 100

6H > 4KK > 236P > 66K or 9K > 3P4PP > 3PP6PP = 101

using 3PKK

6H > 3PKK > 3P > 6KK or 9K > 9KK > 3PP6PP = 101

6H > 3PKK > 3P > 66K or 9K > 3P4PP > 3PP6PP = 102

Using 3PKK still nets you that 1 pt more.

Hm. I never used 3PKK > 3P. I always left the 3P out. Doesn't it accidentally launch if the opponent doesn't slow escape?

In 1.03, 3PKK > 3P is new. In 1.02 if you did a 3P after 3PKK, it would knock the opponent down.

Remember this patch note.

"4K, PK, 3PK: changed damage from 30 to 20, standardized the wall blow back distance for moves at 1m"

3PKK > 3P probably works now since there was a damage decrease on the 3PK part. Meaning that you won't reach the threshold as soon as you would back in 1.02.

Why is Lei Fang's CB 10f while all the other characters' CBs are either 19f or 20f ?

Its not 10 frames. The in game frame data is wrong. Her CB is 20 frames total. If her CB was 10 frames, she'd be pretty much guaranteed a CB almost after any stun that leaves you at +12 and up.

Oh okay, I guess the sabaki is i10.
Thanks for the explanation. ^^

Technically, the frame data is not entirely wrong. Her burst is a high Sabaki. That means that the first 8 frames are registered as such, and the last 10 frames are registered as the attacking frames. This makes the move 18 frames total, and we know due to the '+2 frame rule' that it turns out to be 20. In case you're unfamiliar with this, watch this.

I still have the old version since I'm on the Xbox, so, if they fixed the whole adding two frames thing, this post might not be entirely true, but is still correct in essence.

Where did you get the 8 frames from?

Believe it or not, I watched the frame counter and concluded it stopped at 8, and started from 0 again after it. Yeah I eyeballed it. Not the most accurate way, but I'm 100% sure it's not 7, and pretty sure it's not 9 (definitely not 10) due to how the numbers look. There are other ways to confirm it, like setting the CPU to do a high move that will hit on the 9th frame of the sabaki and see if the it still works, but I was too lazy to do that. Aside from that, it's the only amount of frames that's logically consistent to how the frame counter works, so, didn't confirm it in another way.

Nothing has changed. They still didn't fix the 236P though. It still does NOT limbo stun a crouch guarding opponent like the patch notes say.
