Where are the patch notes about the updates for alpha 152?
I've now wasted 4 pages reading about subjective statements and emotional crap, which in no way helps me to form an opinion. The fact that this objective information is not given up front, when attempting to get through a ban resolution, is strange to say the least.

The summary PL made from the start was a pretty good indication of her general stupidity, I thought.
The big thing she got from Ultimate was a knee launcher out of float, which effectively completes her third CB as a viable means to take away 60%+.
She is stupid as-is and already banworthy, her getting better is just salt on the wounds.

We should banas well, for practically the same reasons.
But ScatteredDreams uses her! She's gotta be legit!
Once again, Jule -- looking at the Tier List. I've made points. You're as bitter as the rest.
It's rather obvious. Tons of tracking string mix-ups that are delayable, exceptional damage, tons of CB options, ridiculous damage off of her throws, stupid OH capabilities for such a strong striker, insane speed/damage ratio, a mid parry, etc.
And her weaknesses are what? Lacking an i11 mid and traditional WU kicks? Doesn't add up at all.

Except we actually know the alpha matchup.
Isn't the real issue that the majority of the cast is just terrible? Shouldn't we be asking for every other character to be buffed instead of just asking for the handful of characters that actually have valid tools to be banned/nerfed?

That's not relevant to the argument, since the match up is understood quite well.
DOAN, here are tips when you decide to step into topics such as these; If you're going to defend your main character this much, then start stating "actual facts" about your character that can counter the initial argument. You have not done so at all yet since you've posted in this topic.

Convoluted tools are bad for the game, period. You need intelligible options with differences between them so the mindgames actually make the game interesting enough to play. For Alpha, all roads lead to death. All options are unintelligible.
I think its way too early...
I know we're basing a lot of this on past experiences with her as well as the obvious buff (float K )
We Still don't have enough experience to see how the game plays out as a whole let alone how deeply broken alpha is. This also includes all the guys that tried her at last weeks event.
I'm not crediting or discrediting anyone just yet till we get our hands on the game properly, see her performance (online, offline and in tourney), and then, only then, should we make a decision like this.
Just so you guys know where I come from,
When Alpha had the broken 2KKK, 0 frame unholdable flashkick recovery, and stupid juggle damage... I supported the notion of banning her in EU despite her being still allowed in the US up until she was patched up.
I am willing to either back her up or ban her, but not until the game matures enough in our hands and we see first hand how things play out.

If that's the case then Alpha would be head and shoulders above everyone in the tier chart based on what's being said here. But she's not, because there are better characters.
The discussions going on in the "Tier List Thread" aren't always the best. You get someone knowledgeable on one character deciding their match-ups with every other character. Many of the best players don't participate in those discussions, and so we often see strange results.
Basically what I'm seeing is that everyone has studied Alpha and realizes she's ridiculous except the few who "main" Alpha who just so happen to claim that she is not cheap and they have to work oh-so-hard to use her, but still refuse to explain why exactly that is.
