If your opponent is slow escaping there's a huge chance he won't hold because he's too busy, and you can confirm it visually.If he doesn't he's probably waiting for an opportunity to hold.It provides the attacker informations to react accordingly with a strike or a throw.
It's also useful against a raw throw, baits, sitdown Stun and some Light Stun, helping you to recover even faster, avoiding the follow up (on low Stun for example allowing to SS out of nowhere like a wizzard or abare).It also mitigates the stun/guessing game providing more frame advantage situations,real 50/50.
No more SE=less visual cues for the players and less defensive options
