@Tyaren I think that the design of the shirt is pretty good and suit well a fighting game, in addution to give a serious cool vibe to Eliot (more reminds me closely what you can see in Mortal Kombat during the some critical hits where the charactes are showned through X-ray XD). If something the only minor complaint is that I would have preffered a grey color more clearly visible (similar to what you can see in Eliot's C2 and C4), but even so it's very good IMO.

I donn't understand why people would want Irene over an original character with a new moveset.

Very simple for the same reason that push any fans of a character to see it the most possible involved in a work XD

I know, indeed my point it was even tied to your design but it was perfectly clear that since the beginning your intention was to not make the drawing visible, and I'm glad that TN followed closely your concept =)

Hey, if you thought, it was an actual band design, then it can't be that bad! As a designer, I was of course very careful not to use anything that wasn't mine in this costume. I designed everything by myself. Even the pattern of the kilt. (During the voting, someone was angry, that I may have desecrated some Scottish familie's special kilt pattern. XD) But I wonder, why Team Ninja didn't care to ask me, if the shirt design was maybe a band design, which could have really caused some copyright problems...

I was wondering as well.

I mean we know japan only has a vague concept of what punk rock is (candy canes intro in rumble roses is proof of that) so the idea that the shirt design could even be a band may not have crossed their minds.

That aside, I agree with you. I prefer a completely original character over a guest character. We have enough guests already, IMO. I don't understand why people would want Irene over an original character with a new moveset. Sure, you could fit her into the story in the future. Don't make her part of the tournament though. That's not the type of character that Irene is. Also, another original character would mean another story would have to be made for them so that's also a plus. This is just my opinion, of course.

I think is about time Irene joins the DOA cast. She is so close to Ryu(They used to be lovers) and she is the only NG character that has appeared in DOA story. She have more reasons to be there than Momiji and Rachel who have no story at all. At least Irene is in DOAD. Besides, she is a CIA agent so she surely know how to fight with punches, kicks and throws with no problem.
If she is not in LR it's okay, no one is gonna replace my Leon anyway, but I'm sure she will join us sooner or later, mostly because she is a blonde, which TN loves, and she have big boobs, which TN loves even more.

So I played Dimensions a little bit tonight (I had motivation to find my 3DS now that SSB is coming out. ) and I played Genra and Raidou for a while since technically either one of them could be the new male who is "resurrected". I never really played them much before as the only boss I ever used was Banko but here's my impression of both of them. It's not meant to be an in-depth analysis but for those of you who never got to use them before and want to know what their general feel is like:
Raidou - although his throws are really cool (even though some of the inputs for them are a pain) he shares a lot of moves with the ninjas (it's hilarious seeing him do Kasumi's high kick). If he is the one included in LR I hope they make changes so that his moveset is more unique.
Genra: has a more unique style but he's slow AF. I always did like his glowing light weapon thing but his projectiles are cheap. If he gets included in LR they need to bring the projectiles down a notch. He definitely would get some air throws I think.

If I had to pick one over the other I'd go with Raidou based off of personal preference (I really don't like slow fighters, Nyo/Banko aside) but they definitely need to make him more unique.

I'm rather confused by that comment. Punk-rock outfits, especially this one, don't really scream "gay" me. He may be referring to the "skirt", which all of us here know is a kilt, but that might not be something your average Japanese guy is too familiar with.

Congrats on your outfit making it in! It looks very good, especially with that hairstyle!

Now on to the speculation of the new character. Obviously, this new character is like all the other new characters: someone we've never seen before. Now, the TN folks say that the design was a favorite, but it may be better to say that they enjoyed creating her. So I'd expect more Marie Rose than Phase 4, and I certainly wouldn't expect Irene or Nikki.

Not really. Ryu was technically a guest fighter, then spartan was, plenty of costumes qualify, then 5 had ninja gaiden and virtually fighter guests
