I've probably mistaken the guy, sorry all lol. I admit the design of some of them was pretty interesting to me

Don't worry, I had realized that you were talking about Fame Douglas and not Donovan =)

Well, Team NINJA has always to explain the reason behind the death of Anna: if not one of the mistress maybe we could get sooner or later a character related to her.

And the fact that I would have to choose her over Irene make me be even less interested.
But I have to say, I like her design, and having a real redhead in DOA wouldn't be a bad idea.

Actually I like Miss Monday, I find her really funny and nice as character and in addition even her design is pretty interesting; I just have preferences for other characters over her.

The translation didn't specify "resurrected" just that we would like him

This is right, however Hayashi specified that the female wasn't a returning character: even if not a confirmation, this could be an indirect hint for the male one being a character from the past.

I'm still a bit concerned about what new mechanics may spawn when DOA5:LR officially comes out, whether they be offensive or defensive. A handful of characters could possibly gain new (or, in some cases, old) moves in this process. In a way, it sounds intriguing.
As for the resurrected character, it could be one of the previous bosses like Genra or Raidou for example. But. The "resurrected" character could also be a metaphor... as if to say, there is a completely different character who could possibly be "possessed" by "that" character who was meant to be dead... or the "dead" character manifesting himself through something. Maybe a form of (unethical) scientific experimentation involving other dead boss characters perhaps done by MIST or something (in terms of what applies to the story).

But that's just some wild theory.

From what I realized, resurrected was just the term used by @Leifang2000 for translating the interview: the term "returning" could be an alternative (so not implying in any cases a "resurrection") and again, as Russian said, the word was never used directly for depicting the male character.
