Kasumi Alpha <3
Well from what I'm seeing in DOA5, Kasumi pretty much is back to her DOA2/3 days, just with the perks of her DOA4 self.

As for what I look for in a character, I like being fancy. I like looking flashy and flipping around, spinning, and overly dramatic attacks with a ridiculous startup animation that just isn't necessary. I just like a *FUN* character. I also thoroughly enjoyed playing as Bankotsubo in DOA4, though I never used him Online too much. I actually started using him a lot in DOAD, along with Alpha-152 and Ayane, plus Helena.

I know I will go through all the characters, and might as well start to practice Kasumi again... We'll see :)
And Helena will always be a part of my team, no matter how bad she's gone :D

But yeah, Christie will ALWAYS be my main! I've grown to love her and actually be good with her, so no leaving her behind here...

I'm assuming you saw the new Christie combo video that Emporer Cow shelled out lately?

Yeah saw that already :)
I was kind of worried about TN taking out her stance..
Now that I've seen some gameplay without it, it doesn't seem like a downgrade anymore..
She's gotten some tools that compensate WAY more than I wished for.

I find those kinds of characters to be fun as well. Bankotsubo was my main in DOA4 and the only character I used in DOAD, and he will always be my favorite character. One of the many characters that I'm looking forward to this time is Brad due to his unorthodox style.

Yeah, if I don't like the flare of the character's moves, I find them boring.
Visually I find Ayane and Hayabusa's styles the most intriguing, and consequently they are two of my favorites to play as.

And Tengu is always a hoot. =D

I'm surprised by the amount of Tengu love I've seen here on FSD. I haven't necessarily seen a lot, per se, but I've seen a number people express positive reception for the character. I've always assumed most people hated him. Hopefully he'll be back in DOA6.

I just want the DOA5 team to come to their senses and release Tengu as DLC later down the line. He would be so much fun with this new system.

Yeah, he never seemed well-liked by most people, but I always loved using him (felt like I was in an overwhelming minority). He does seem to have more positive reception here on FSD than I've seen elsewhere.

Me too, but in fact Tengu is hilarious.
Only thing I hate about him is that the people who usually pick him up, use the same moves over and over again :DDD

Well he does have the smallest move pool in the game, but you still shouldn't be repetitive with him. He's very easy to punish if you actually know how to read him.

Really? I thought Alpha-152 had a smaller one, considering 50% of her movelist is just the same thing but with a different startup, unless we're talking DOA4.

Oh well, there's still Alpha-152. Everyone's least favorite boss character for some odd reason.

I would list her as my second favorite. Raidou and Genra are just boring as hell. Provided that it's not a nightmare to unlock her and I actually manage it, I'll definitely be trying her out.

Yeah, I meant DOA4. Though he's probably right behind Alpha in DOAD because his move pool is the same as DOA4, plus that completely worthless whirlwind attack that he had in DOAU.

Yeah the bosses are pretty easy to predict...
Never really played against anyone who could use them well.
