Let's say she had a bunch. That wouldn't really change anything. It's near impossible to connect something on normal hit in DOA. The game just isn't setup that way.

no I totally inderstand .. but Its a tool nonetheless.. and its something she always kinda lacked so I was curious ..
well whatever they do I hope she turns out good. Same goes for all the cast really. I want this game to be enjoyable and as "even" as possible..

I don't know of any either. But he was specifically asking about NH launchers, and the way DOA works, it's rare to connect an attack on NH.
Bass 9K is pretty much a Tekken hop kick.
The only time it launched higher on counter hit was in DOA1.

Wow i didnt know that. She looks pretty solid as far as i can tell from the videos. There was a girl playing her (Vanessa was her name i believe) and she pretty much destroyed people with Hitomi. I dont know how much of a difference there is between the characters so i cant tell if it was vanessa or hitomi that destroyed the people but yeah like i said she looked fun. Guess i have to overthink what i said about maining kasumi...

Vanessa is considered the best female DoA player, which makes her like an average male DoA player. Hitomi is a good character though.

Ehm lol and i actually thought that it was Hitomi that went crazy on these guys. The first time i saw her wall damage i was just like ''What the fuck did just happen!?'' Well its kinda hard for me to decide what character i wanna main cos i dont know anything about the game mechanics and stuff. All i can go for atm is what you guys telling me lol. Guess i have to wait till the game launches and i can actually try some of the characters out

I think Vanessa is better than average against guys. I think shes better than 80% of the guys so i wouldnt say she is average from what i have seen, she has not problem facing male players. She almost beat master.

If we're talking about the E3 tournament, keep in mind that Hitomi probably has the fewest changes from DOA4 to the E3 build of DOA5. In addition, she was playable in the Alpha demo and was Vanessa's main in DOA4. So Vanessa beating people up with Hitomi isn't really representative of how good the character is. It's more about Vanessa's knowledge of the character compared to everyone else's knowledge of their characters.
That said... Hitomi was probably one of the best characters in the E3 build.
