Main Character

I'm just curious to see who everyone is planning on maining BEFORE the game comes out and you get a chance to toy with em all. I'll do another about a month after the games been out, just to see the differences. I know for me its a toss up between Tina, Jann Lee, Lei Fang, and Akira, but honestly, as much as I want to play Tina or Lei Fang in this, I wouldn't be surprised if I go back to Jann Lee.

Also feel free to say why. I played Tina in 2, Jann Lee in 3 and 4, and Lei Fang in 4. I like Tina's grapples a lot and the "Go to Sleep" is really enticing.

I've used Kasumi since I first played DOA in 1998. I saw her teleport and fell in love hahaha. So she'll be my main followed by Helena and Kokoro.

Kinda hard to vote since i wanna Main Kasumi, then Christie and Helena. And yeah her teleports are awesome.

well my main was always Lei Fang... but Sarah is incredible in VF5FS and shes looking even better in DOA5 ...
I don't agree with the whole .. "MAIN" concept .. Even though Lei Fang was my favorite and I used her the most usually did a lot better with Ayane. And Leon was like a secret weapon .. LOL.. Its just a mood thing.

If Lei Fang gets her Leather shorts and top back then I will main her. If not, its Sarah.

I think its too early to decide until I get a general feel of the game.

and I like how you deliberately didn't put Leon in the list as if you have an inside scoop

Also couldn't the poll be a bit more spread out for individual characters ?
I haven't really made a poll here before but this seems kinda .. I dunno .. cluttered up ..

for example .. I hate Jann Lee, Gen Fu and Eliot but they're paired up with my old main (Lei Fang) ..
I just don't see how the averaging in this poll makes any sense at all ..

I'm currently interested in maining Helena since she was my favorite in DOA4 for seven years along with Busa. I've kinda lost interest in the ninja for DOA5 but for all I know I could just go to him again. My mains for the series were Jann Lee/Helena (DOA2), Jann Lee/Leifang (DOA3) and Helena/Busa (DOA4).

Besides Helena, I'm seriously considering picking up Tina this time around since I've never actually gone for a grappler in any fighting game and Tina looks like a very cool choice. I also need to see Jann Lee as well.

So far Rig is looking pretty bad ass though. Not going to lie.

And I would like to see Mila in action, as well as try out the other new characters (VF cast included) to see how they play.

The same duo I've always used: Bass and Zack

I'm sure Zack will turn out fine, mid-tier at worst, I just hope Bass is competent. I also thoroughly enjoy Brad but most of my competitive play came from DoAU so I'm most comfortable with Bass and Zack.

I'm going to use Kasumi the most because of her teleports and because I feel more confortable with her, but some of my favorites are: Helena,Tina,Leifang and Zack.

Well, luckily you can just tell us which character you will main in your post or your twitter feed. For me probably Helena and as a secondary Kokoro or Leifang. I already loved Kokoro's fighting style in 4, but her huge melon head was a total dealbreaker for me. Rig also looks really cool so far. We'll see.

In 4 I Used Jann Lee and Eliot, so i'll try them here as well. I have always wanted to be good with Helena so i'll give that another go as well.

Played Helena since DOA2. But I love all the girls, especially Kokoro.
Zack, Leon and Bass are not my favourite but hey are fun. The other men are really cool, especially Eliot and Bayman.
I'm very interesting in maining either Sarah or Pai Chan. They are really fun in VF5FS and I was really impressed by what Team Ninja did with Sarah in the recent footage. Can't wait to see more Pai Chan in DOA.

So yeah, it's hard to vote.
