The second strongest fighter in the franchise? Unlikely. I can accept Ryu being the strongest in the series, cause you said he was labelled it by the creator, so fair game there... but Tengu following Ryu? Just... just no.
Tengu, would not have been able to beat any of the ninjas... He's less of a threat than Alpha 152. Not to mention he was also easier to beat than Omega.
We might get Marie a little after x-mas if they plan on the arcade release in x-mas ...
I know for a fact that they dont wanna divide the community with 2 versions ...

Momiji was a hell of a new addition (fighting game debut).
Safe, style, survived a patch!!!!, has feints, pseudo-FT setups.
For a DOA character she was really well done. Any other fighting game... less so but that's another story.
Mila on DOA5 release was fantastic too. Had great tools and play style. Where I don't trust them is after they make new characters.

I hope we get her on x-mas... but chances are we'll see her a month or 2 after the arcade release. When is the arcade release anyway? =S I know the last location test is towards the end of December. Does it just release after that? or is there another 1-3 months wait after?

But Hitomi has beat Jan before too. The power in this game is very inconsistent now that I think about it. For instance, Hitomi consistently beats Leifang, however Leifang most recently defeated Jan aswell.

Pssh, they can easily spin the story any way they want. I mean do you really look for consistency or story in a fighting game? Never mind in Dead or Alive.
they could have them fighting martians for all i care i just want awesome/funny cutscenes
