wow, I've just seen this thread just now and I am kinda annoyed by these comments in this thread to be fully honest
Firstly guys, the game isn't out yet. So why are you expecting some top level play?? I said this before and I will say it again. The purpose of that tournament is to try and get people into this game, just to show them what the game is about. This wasn't suppose to be a top level tournament/event. I have been watching the DOA5 stream at E3 and to be honest with you guys, I haven't seen anything better. That tournament was properly on the same kind of level that the tournament at London Expo was at. I have seen a lot of pauses through out the event (Heck, there was hardly or none pauses in the DOA5 tournament at London Expo). So you guys have NO RIGHT to tell us that the tournament at London Expo was pitiful, after how the tournament was like at E3.
Secondly, I don't play DOA5 (Or any other DOAs) with someone that I know that plays the game. I usually play it by facing the computers (Which is not good at all) because I haven't got no one. Also before the event, I was busy with doing some work for college and I didn't really have the time to practise in the game. So yeah, I probably wasn't very good during that day and there are many better players than me. But if there are some players who thinks that I am crap, then I'm crap.
At the end of the day, My aims is to not only try and be a good player at this game but to try and create a very strong scene/community in the UK. I believe that is the most important thing in order for me (or anyone else). But to be honest with you guys, I couldn't care less about what you think of me. If I am rubbish, I'm rubbsh. All I really care about is support the UK DOA scene!
