I'm really hoping its better tomorrow with more people to play with. As of right now any small amount of hype I had for this game has just been killed by the online. DoA4 didn't have the best netcode in the world but 90% of my matches were smooth. This has been horrible button delay EVERY match.

Ive read a few reports of offline lag also.

This can be a major problem. I hate this crap with games(Like Silent Hilll Downpour and Heavy Rain for example). I hope this is fixed ASAP.

Working and playable are two different things. Like I said maybe it will be better tomorrow but so far its been bad.

I picked up my CE last night, and on a whim bought the guide as well. To Mr. Dr. Dogg: Holy sweet mother of Jesus the stuff in that guide is great. I think I spent a good 2 1/2 - 3 hours reading over the book and frame data for Leifang, Hitomi, Pai and Helena.
There was one thing I think you overlooked, however; I think there should have been a page or two dedicated to the titles and how you get them. I know you have a small bit of them in the story mode run-through, but I think it would have been cool to see all of the titles and how you unlock them. That said, the lack of that doesn't hurt the guide in the slightest.
Oh, and I'll be on and playing in about 40 minutes or so. Gotta wait for PowerPlay to open before I get to have my fun.
