The throw actually still hits because of the blockstun created, no time to sidestep.
I just tested it out and you are right. Well then if you have to guess correctly to get out of it she probably shouldn't get +7. If TN nerf's that then I won't complain.

Edit: On her 6KK you can SS the second hit that causes the block stun but it is really fucking hard. Especially if you have SS set to 22/88.

I don't think she needs a nerf. Maybe she is too safe in comparison to other characters but I'd rather they give other characters more safe moves to compensate.

I thought her Tenku mix ups having an ender that is +7 was kind of unfair seeing as she has strong mix ups from that stance but then I discovered that none of her string variants track, that includes the throw. So all you have to do is SS and she can't touch you when she is in the air.

Actually all you have to do against Momiji in the air is low counter. Her P followup does pathetic damage.

I'm very disappointed in her i12 throw's damage, and the lack of parries or advanced counters. She's supposed to be a mix of Aikido and Hayabusa's style, both of which feature that stuff.

On the bright side she's safer than I originally thought. 2H+K is pretty nice too. I was really hoping for something potentially scary in Momiji but I haven't seen it yet

Me and shadow tested the stance out the other day. Awesome fact is Christie can 2 Jak everything. 8 Jak still gets caught by the throw. The game like option selects her or something.

The recovery on low holds allows her to land and continue offense quite well if you opt that route.

Another thing I remember being odd is her 8K recovers in the air. So you can't throw it period. Christie can punish it with PKK JaK PP though. Its an interesting move.

Ok, I've decided. After a few days playing with Momiji, she's my new current main. Hitomi has now become my secondary because of how solid Momiji is.

after fooling around with momiji in training I decided to fight against her in training mode on com level 8 with Helena & I think she has a hidden move out of her double jump. she can somehow do the last p in 6pk(P) out of it and even when I had her movelist on it didn't show it. so yeah those are my findings.

but here's a flashy combo
3kp8~K~K (CB!) 8 > 6h+k > 44p8~pp > 7k

Don't forget that the CPU doing moves the player can't do, is nothing new for a DOA game. She does have a hidden move,though. While running h+k is a guard break that leaves her at +1.

Since I do not see this shit implemented as much as I FUCKING WANT MOMIJI PLAYERS TO DO try 3KP8K FREE CANCEL (FUCKING SHOCKER) 66P P+K the 66P managed to extend the stun without crossing the threshold, excuse the bitchy-ness

Because 3KP8K only does 18 points of Critical Damage, and 66P does 10 points, which doesn't break the Critical Threshold (28 points).

It won't work if the opponent SEs, though, but nice find.

u can duck after 66k to avoid the throw and kick and the over head theres enough time to counter it because of the flame animation.....

thats not true momji on hit can cancel her air stance in time to crouch grab u
