I was thinking about it and from looks of it seems classic characters will be on top row and new ones on bottom row. That just an assumption tho as it could be wrong but if there are 12 new characters coming that would be awesome.

Two gloves was purely for gameplay mechanics.

I know just can't get it just for gameplay why they changed it. Can't they create one claw based gameplay? Why they choose the "hardest" and annoying way? Some people can see this as a creative and cooler choice but I don't. He looks like Wolverine.

A) its due to the stance system. Since characters can switch which limbs they attack, giving Freddy only one glove would be a severe handicap. He would have to always switch to that hand before doing anything.

B). He looks nothing like wolverine. He's closer to Edward scissor hands. But having two gloves instead of one changes literally nothing about Freddy. It just makes him more dangerous. I'm surprised they hadn't done it in the movies yet. Likely due to the scissor hands comparison.

But Nyotengu has one fan it isn't exactly same thing but it works very well.

Played the MKX demo at this year's Fan Expo.

Long story short, I played Cassie Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Kotal Khan.

Cassie and KK are great fun, with their styles greatly changing their playstyles.

Scorpion's inputs are similar to Injustice, and his Hellfire style feels horrible.

Sub-Zero feels great, and his styles all augment his base MK9 set to suit your preferences.

Mortal Kombat X dated for April 14, 2015; Goro announced as a pre-order bonus character

April 14, 2015 -- that's when fighting game fans will be able to finally get their hands on Mortal Kombat X, NetherRealm Studios announced this morning.

Along with the release date, they've also announced Goro to be a playable character in Mortal Kombat X; he is a bonus character that will be made available to gamers who pre-order.

So they are swapping out sheeva for the original?

So long as he plays the same as her I'll be happy

Although would love to play as Shao Kahn instead, im looking forward to playing Goro in MKX as he one of my favorites.

I figured release date would be in April. Give me Liu Kang and Reptile and i'll be happy. I have a feeling Quan Chi will be in the game as well.
