This was a design choice. Everyone has a serious design as this one will be a very serious game. They're not going the MK9 route again.
I don't think Sindel will be playable. There are a lot of characters in that trailer, I think the one fighting Cassie and Jin with Sindel is Kitana.

The woman at 0:30 in the video? It could be Li Mei. But I doubt she will be playable, sadly

Am I the only one that is really happy with this more classy and serious look they have given all the female characters. Because before the reboot Mileena was a seductress but also a competent leader who you could take seriously. And in 9 she was a couple of days old bimbo. But in this trailer from the little we have seen it seems they have made her competent again and angry about not being in the position of power she feels she deserves. And that's great because she is actually my favorite character after Jade.

Yeah I don't like the new designs, especially Mileena. I did hear something about them trying to go for a more realistic designs... which is ironic in a game where people get their skulls fractured and continue to fight like nothing happened.
Remember when TN tried to do this with DOA5? I wonder if NRS will at least offer some DLC for those of us who don't take games so seriously

Don't think this confirms her as playable. Her costume is too similar to MK9, imo.

She has a thing with Reiko, but he's most likely using her.
That's unfortunate, well I only go on TYM for MK stuff... Sucks people can't appreciate female characters without it.
