You didn't mention Rig, who I personally think is a really cool new addition.
I would love new stages, but honestly, the only costumes I'd be interested in are Ryu's DOA Throwback and more of Ayane's from past games. Otherwise, I feel like there are enough costumes.
The last thing we need is less males in the roster. I'm glad Rig's a dude.
Nationality doesn't really matter in DOA. All their asians look pretty white anyway.

The ninjas look white-ish because of their refusal to stick with their natural hair color, hence the need for the addition of Momiji! Look at Joe Hayabusa, Muramasa, Shiden, Ayame, or Raidou--they all look pretty Asian to me. I still think the ninjas look Asian, but whatever. Kokoro, Gen Fu, and Lei do not look white. The most white-looking Asian in DOA is Brad Wong.
I don't care if Taekwondo was given to a Canadian male, just add a Korean character.

I disagree. I see lots of Kasumi/Ayane cosplayers who are asian but get their hair purple/orange/whatever, and they never look as close as some of the white cosplayers do (then again, those are two damn-hard characters to cosplay as). None of the characters that are asian have olive skin, flat/wide faces or noses, etc. Even the most asian-looking characters look half-asian to me at most.
Rachel and Leon get my vote

What Russian said. I said I understand that Kasumi and Ayane don't look "Asian enough," but Kokoro and Lei Fang embody what modern Asians perceive as "beautiful."
Sorry for posting these as I hate most Korean girl groups, but I'm trying to make a point.
These are some of the most popular idols/actresses in Asia, and they don't fit under your description of Asian at all. Modern Asian people like white skin, big eyes, double eyelids, sharp jaw lines, sharp noses, pretty much everything opposite of what you said is Asian. That's why under the context that TN was trying to make their characters "beautiful," Lei Fang and Kokoro fit the bill.
Gen Fu is a stereotypical Asian old guy. He does not look white, and I don't think that's even arguable. Kasumi, Ayane, Hayabusa, Hayate, and Brad Wong look whiter than Kokoro and Lei Fang. That's all I was saying.

If they're trying to make them idealized beautiful (which it's pretty obvious they are), their ideal of beauty lies in many Caucasian attributes.

Don't forget Izuna variants. They shouldn't be as punishing as Ryu's, but that's sort of a signature of the Hayabusa clan.

I don't think anyone in the game looks Asian. I think Kasumi looks Japanese and Leifang looks Chinese. For the most part the modelers did a great job of capturing little subtleties, but many Americans can't spot them and assume that everyone from that region looks like Lucy Liu 
I think it was on 2ch or some blog post where someone posted a pic of a Japanese actress who looked 99% identical to DOA5 Kasumi, I can't remember the name though and it's gonna drive me nuts

I don't have a problem with Momiji being added to the game, as I reckon she'd be fun to play, but before adding new characters they should sort out the missing characters first. If they're adding someone else new, I always thought Rachel would be a cool choice. Problem is, they've probably got to maintain a form of distinguishing the NG series from DOA. I would say Murai would be cool to add as well, but I'm getting lost in NG characters now.
On a side note, they should totally give Gen Fu a Muramasa costume...

Rig, while I liked the laidback attitude, was just as bland as Mila. Both of their movesets aren't as fun to play as all the other characters, and they lacked a whole lot of 'charm' as characters and are forgettable.
Momiji in DOA5 Ultimate would be ultimate win. (See what I did there?)

To each their own, but I think that Rig's fighting style is far more visually distinct and fun to use than, say, Kokoro's.
I would absolutely love the return of Leon and Ein (never did particularly care for Tengu except for the LSD moments) but I think TN should shy away from ninja characters. They tend to be pretty powerful (except Hayate, who is just kinda underperforming right now). Let's reestablish the core roster (having a DOAD style roster eventually would be nice) before expecting someone new or a guest character to join the fight.
Originally had several paragraphs about Mila and Rig being widely called bland/uninteresting (new characters with practically no connection to plot, Rig's connection is just stupid, severe lack of Tag Throws) but decided to leave that for different threads. My suggestion, play them for hours on end trying strategies that are and are not discussed in their subtopics. They have the charm but you have to really look for it, especially if you play characters that are very reliant on specific move properties or strategies.
