If they put Leon in DOA5U (which is highly likely), I betta see a lot of fuckin' Leon's online or somebody's gonna get called out.

Maybe for the first week. After that, not so much. Maybe one Leon for every one thousand Momiji's.
After one month, double the number. Anytime after that are DOA5 newcomers and dedicated hardcore Leon players (Mila soon to be second main).

Hopefully the game is out by August. I want to be the only person repping him (lol) in Summer Jam even if he is released that week.

I'll be re-learning Leon for sure. It looks like I'll be maining both of the sambo guys. However, if Tengu comes back too, then they'll both have to take a back seat, but will certainly still see some action.

I really don't see ever replacing Ryu as my main. But, Leon and Momiji are both currently equal contenders for my primary sub-main. Really depends on how they each turn out.

I've put to much work into Bayman to have someone replace him,but I can have a close second, third, fourth etc.. also like Brute said it depends on how they play.i don't want to say I'm going to play someone only to be stuck with a shit or uninteresting character, though I doubt that's going to happen.these characters are probably going to be coming in actually designed around this game rather than just adapted

Is that what it's called? I always just called it Raidou's Izuna :V
Not sure what it's called in his command list, but I was watching gameplay vids of Dimensions and watched Raidou chuck out a Genshin-style Underworld Drop.

DOAD's movelists don't display move names.

Wow same here, except that I am kind of dual-maining Hayabusa and Hayate now. And Alpha-152 will probably join them once I [finally] unlock her. Decicions...

The ones I want the most are Ein and Leon. They should have never been gone to begin with. Then I'm fine with Momiji and will more than happily use her. Regarding Tengu, I'd like to see him back too but with some changes to his design. He was too large in past games so a thinner, less exaggerated version of him would be cool. A new character would be welcome too. I dunno about Rachel though, she'd be the fourth big-breasted blonde in the game. That's probably too much.

Given how many new characters are added in new versions of other games I'd say we should aim to a maximum of three. Momiji is 100% confirmed and Leon's background voice in the video pretty much confirms him too in my opinion so that leaves another probable spot. I vote Ein.

Considering how much backlash DOA5's gotten mainly from Leon and Ein's exclusion, it's pretty safe to say Ein will be in. Unless Momiji and Leon are the only additions to the game. If we get a 3rd character and it's not Ein I will be pissed off.

I'll understand more if it's a new character (even though I personally think Ein is a better and smarter choice than Leon) but if it's Tengu and we still don't have Ein then I'm done.

Why would he be a smarter choice? "Better" I can understand. I don't agree but if you liked Ein's playstyle better than Leon's than I can conceive of that. But smarter? Why would he be smarter? He's already sort-of in the game with Hayate and Hitomi (I know not really, but you get how that's MORE than Leon is) and we already have more strikers than grapplers. Even if you like Ein more and want him more, I don't see how he'd be a "smarter" choice.

He's a smarter choice because Ein is a more popular and far less "niche" character and would more than likely garner more revenue from players than Leon. I can guarantee you a lot more people want and played Ein than Leon and would buy the game for him. It's just that this site is far more Leon-oriented and would have you think otherwise.

On the other hand, I think he's a "better" choice purely because I like the character more. It's foolhardy to say he's in the game already with variations of his style. That's like saying Devil Jin is already in the game as regular Jin, the styles are amazingly different and details as basic as the ones between Ryu and Ken make all the difference especially in competitive play.

I agree. Ein is just more popular overall. The thing is that we have Erik (Rikuto) who has always played Leon and many attention towards that character with things like Cow's neverending thread about bringing him back. But if you take a look at tournament videos for any past DOA game, you see Ein much more often than Leon.

I still want them both back. Team NINJA made a horrible mistake cutting them.

I don't play Tekken but yes, I understand he's not in the game, but from a marketing perspective, I still don't see advertising him will be as financially successful as Leon. And the sad fact is that neither will probably be used much because 90% of DOA players refuse to main males.

We did that never ending thread to bring attention to him while the Ein players eatheir beleived it was a waste of time or assumed TN knew.you really think if TN knew he would of been cut? Ein was one of the more popular characters even in DOA4 Leon was almost the lowest but they both got axed regardless of populariity
