Marie's case was different, since people weren't up-in-arms about a lame character/moveset. Those concerns were focused on potential sexuality and/or neglect of fans asking for other things (ie: Tengu).

I still can't really understand it because again, I've seen women like Marie in my lifetime, so I just go meh and walk off(she isn't my type so that is dead) as for Nyo, I do get where people came from, but I also knew that sadly he wasn't gonna sell that well and hell, even TN never seemed all that fond of him(New TN anyways) considering in the revamped Dimensions storyline, he apparently gets even less presence than before.

Phase people complained about heavily because she is very clearly recycled waste in every way. Shockingly, though, I actually remember more people being hyped upon her lame reveal than those who weren't.

Rig's outfit in those screens is pretty cool.


After watching the gameplay, I'm intrigued. Not very original of course, but the possibilities are cool. Really that could go for Raidou or Honoka though, although Raidou's (default) design is cooler imo, but I do like Honoka's skull/camo skirt outfit.

Wish we could get Brad from VF though.

I disagree here, I'm sure that at least Shimbori really like Bankotsubo, and in any cases all the bosses of DoA (and Kasumi Alpha) got more presence in Dimensions than what they made in the single games of the series. The decision to cut Bankotsubo was overall tied to commercial reasons, with another course of the events Bankotsubo wouldn't have got problems to be included in Last Round in place of Raidou.

I love Virtua Fighter but no, personally I'm glad for any kind of character owned from DoA, this is their game and characters from this franchise should be the priority. If and when should be made a DoA X VF, I will be the first one to ask to not add Raidou and Honoka for giving the priority to other DoA or VF characters with unique movesets able to represent better the 2 series (even if technically Raidou and Honoka can represent a little part of many DoA characters at the same time).
