Wrong thread, but I wished I knew, why Crimson still looks so very ugly, when this stage is a current generation exclusive stage. Does it look so underwhelmingly last generation, because they didn't want to make it look too out of place among the other low resolution and low polygon stages? :/

It's exclusive like the hairstyles so there's incentive for people to buy the more expensive version of the game, simple as that. You really think the PS3 can't handle a stage from PS2 era?

Given that I can understand people have their style preferences I never understood why that haircut (new Christie) is so popular. The Tron suit is pretty awesome looking but the haircut really throws me off of the Christie vibe.

I wonder if the Leon and Bayman outfits will be exhibited as they fight each other.

Probably some sort of homage towards some unknown movie.

So far we have only had a few new costumes! I would like to see at least 2 more for each character, thats not asking to much as 5 to 5U gave at least 2 each! Im sure we will see more with the reveal of the new character, whats the date again, can't see it on the EU site!?

Christies hair is such an amazing addition, it suits her sooo well, especially with the torn outfit.

Rather than making even more costumes for Last Round, they should have just included all the old DLC in the game. The characters also only got one new outfit (that wasn't DLC before) for DOA5 Ultimate, not several. To be honest, I think the characters have more than enough outfits already, especially the girls. DOA has basically become a fashion simulation at this point. And it's no wonder, that we see so few real graphical updates for the current generation versions of Last Round, when all the graphic designers are stuck making more and more costumes, hairstyles...and tweaking the boob physics.

I'm 95% sure that the graphics updates you want are being saved for DOA6. from a business standpoint, I wouldn't improve the game too much so that when the next one is revealed, even the minor graphical tweaks will seemingly make it look better when compared to its previous game. CoD does this shit all the time. (Still waiting for a rainy stage)

Also, for DLC, I would rather have the good sets, rather than all of them. If they could just not include the disappointing ones in the free batch, that'd be great. But I was damn surprised that they didn't have the 2013 Halloween outfits and the other DOA5/+ bikinis.
It would only make sense to add these missing packs:
5U School Uniforms
5U Gym Class
Ultimate Sexy Swimsuits
Halloween 2013
Nurses
Bath Towels (should've been free to begin with)
Marie Rose debut costumes
Phase 4 Debut Costumes
Nyotengu Debut Costume s

My guess is, that if they added all of the DLCs, there will be a flood of "Omg TN, I bought all of the DLC, and this is how you REPAY ME?" people. Also, TN obviously didn't add all DLCs so that they could still make money whilst in preparation for LR, because some people are still buying the ones that weren't included, so they can have all costumes.

And if people are going to compare the USFIV argument, Let's just say this:
AE: Characters got 3 alternates.
DOA5/U: Characters like Lei Fang and Ayane get at least 30-35 extra costumes. And they are giving out 180 of them for free.

TN just can't give all of that for free. They can give out at least half of that, but not all. Why? Koei might not be letting them, because they still want to make the bread before it expires.

I guess, I also stand corrected by myself. There were indeed some characters (apart from the new ones to DOA5U), that got more than just one bonus costume for DOA5 Last Round.

Weren't the cyber-suits for the ninja's made for DOA5+, not Ultimate? So, aside from new characters, it was really just Ayane, Kasumi, Kokoro and Leifang that got more than 1 new costume in Ultimate.

You missed Tina's classic Silver and Black wrestling attire. That was added in 5U.

Anyway, we aren't getting next gen graphics, we are getting current/old gen scaled up. And without seeing the background of the game, this soft skin feature might not be anything all that complex (from a game programmers point of view, and not a regular joe-soap like me, you know what I mean).

Making new costumes, stages anything aesthetic, takes time, and good designers know how to use their time wisely. So, realistically we should get that LITTLE more, to make those who "may" buy it, buy it. And yes, IMO that extra stage or costume could be the deciding factor for most.

Than again, this is just my 2 cents, I could be very wrong. If you are getting a re-release, you want to be spoilt. New titles should be about quality, a rehash of something that has that quality should have more, and more of it!

I think they'll all be available for purchase, you're just getting a pack for free for pre-ordering.

As for the included costume packs on disc, I can't say for sure, but a lot of those packs are the worst-selling packs (casual and throwback sets). Basically any of the packs that have male costume content doesn't sell well. Hence, why even the bath towel DLC is still a must pay set.

See, I did preorder the PS4 version...but I don't have a PS4 yet and probably won't until Summer 2015. But I really wanted to support DOA5 Last Round and I did want it to be my first PS4 title, so I figured that I would put my Amazon gift card to good use.
