She's famous for her dominant aura and her totally unique gameplay that is similar to the original Tengu who is a DOA2 main boss and returned as a secret character within DOA4 & DOAD.

An assumption based on the fact that when he was free, no one played him. If they're gonna spend resources on bringing Tengu back and balancing him for tourneys and future games, then they want the character to actually sell. A handful of people buying Tengu will not help TN at all. They want thousands of player to buy him. This is why in every form of media, handsome or beautiful people are the lead roles. That's what sells. Not enough people would buy or play original Tengu.

 

That lick at the end though, god damns. I wanted them to do that with a vampire character if they made one, dat seductiveness.

 

They turned Tengu into a slut but hey that's what sells right?

Yeah I can't explain how excited I am that they kept Tengu's slow, heavyweight style. And bonus, there won't be a million Nyotengu's mashing online

Tengu has never been a solid character. What I mean by that is he was either overpowered or underpowered. To me that's a reason to not play a character. Not to mention he was banned. Same reason I stopped playing Alpha. She was an overpowered piece of shit.

Tengu is original. That IS a reason to buy him. We can go on like this forever but we have different opinions.
