New To Dead Or Alive 5 and the forums.

I just got Dead or Alive 5 Last Round from steam and i was wondering, what are some good beginner characters to use? Im not really used to using directional inputs in combos which this game seems to have a crap ton off. Ive been using Tina so far since i heard shes noob friendly and so far she seems fine but shes not really my style and her in game voice bugs me a lot....seems so fake x.x

Well, character very friendly beginner in the game are Ein, Hitomi, Momiji or Rachel, so personally I would suggest you to try these and then to use what you like more according to your tastes =)

Ok i think i like Hitomi the most out of those people ill try them and see hoe it goes. hopefully i can do he stuff.

hitomi is pretty straight forward but she can have some difficult combo's once get into the middle of it.

I don't really know her well so i can't really tell much besides what i know.

Can someone help me with her Junyo-Izuna i was able to do it one and finished all her command trails but i cant do it again and i want to be able to do the trials 100% withfailing but i cant for the life of me do the air grab stuff its like so fast :/

Buffer the before the combo throw lights up. Basically don't delay when going from the attack to the throw.

So does that mean i can just do a half cirle ending in the up position and then press down or will the punching fail if i don't do the quarter circle.

You should just be able to do up down. But yeah it might work that way.

Just keep spinning the stick after the quarter circle, it will still register the and won't affect the . Also hit a split second before the combo throw message pops up.

How am i supposed to ask questions in the Momiji section of the forums if I have insufficient privileges? I would like to ask if there are any videos that actually talk about the basic combos for momiji for people that are 100% new to fighting games, because so far in the Momiji section all the videos are about tech and setups and crazy stuff which I have no idea why I would want to learn them. Like whats a BnB for her or whats he best poke and wake up options? I would like to see a 100% noob tutorial as apposed to a tutorial of momiji which hinges on the fact that you know this game very well already and you just wish for a character change. I hope that makes sense.

What privs are you missing? I tested your privs and it looks like you should be able to post in that board.
